About Me

Hello parents, (I’m available ASAP for emergency nanny roles, part time, fill in nanny roles & babysitting too) I’m a few minutes walk from Battersea Power Station.
I’m looking for a live out nanny role. I Am looking for part time days but again can be flexible and can extend hours for the right role.

I am a Mother to a 15year old.
Love arts and crafts and baking.
Have over 11 years experience in childcare settings. Have previously done work placements in a nursery and have done babysitting and nannying for 10years. Ages newborn -10years old. (This is not including caring for my own son)

Confident in making meals and also in potty training.
Love visiting parks and museums & also enjoy making memory books which the children help make too so the parents never feel left out of fun activities.

My Experience

I worked as an after school nanny for just under a year for a 5 year old girl, I would make sure she was collected from school on time and made it my goal to see her succeed in her school work by reading and helping her with homework. I would occasionally babysit her and would organise fun activities like arts and crafts and messy play in my home as well as taking her out to places such as the local parks and museums.

I have been looking after a little girl once a week who is now 9 since she was around 6 weeks old. When she was younger I would stick to her routine as she has at home and stimulate her mind with soft toys and rattles, showing her different colours and sounds, as a toddler I would organise age appropriate activities such as sensory bottles to help her learn her colours and play doh to help her use her imagination. I keep her in a routine as set by her mother and make lunch and dinner as well as offer healthy snacks. We enjoy reading books and visiting the local parks. Now she is older and is on school we focus on her homework and reading set by the class teacher and we work on phonics. She now has a little sister who i also babysit and all the above (age appropriate) applies to the youngest too.

I was a nanny to a family of 4 children, ages 10,8,2 & newborn (new baby was born on my second day working for the family) I would collect the 2 year old from nursery, visit the park and take her home for lunch and her nap. I also set up activities for her such as messy play and role play areas which were her favourite. I would collect the older children from school and bring them home and prepare dinner for the family and help the 2 oldest with their homework. Once a week I would take them to their after school club. When the mother needed me to I would care for the baby, change his nappy, feed him bathe him when needed and would put him down for his naps. I would also do all the children’s laundry and would make sure their rooms were tidy and organised before I left to go home.

I am currently looking after a 7 year old boy part time after school. I collect him from school and provide healthy snacks. Weather dependent we visit the local parks and love to visit the local Lego store where we build at their free play area. I take him to clubs and make sure he has the correct kit and make sure his homework reading and spellings are completed . I am not required to cook in this role but on occasions when babysitting I make him his dinner. I keep the parents updated with pictures and videos.
