Hello, I'm Jane and welcome to Little Wildflowers at No.96 Childminding.
I live in Hyde, Tameside, with my husband, our baby daughter, 2 teenage sons and our much-loved family pets, including our dogs, rabbits and tortoise.
I am a warm, caring and creative person with a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. As both a mum and an Early Years specialist, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, secure and valued in their environment.
My setting is inspired by the Curiosity Approach and Hygge principles, providing a calm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children can learn through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
At Little Wildflowers at No.96, children enjoy daily stories, songs, sensory play, outdoor adventures, nature exploration and open-ended learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence.
Living opposite a woodland area, we love spending time outdoors exploring nature, visiting local parks and discovering the world around us.
My aim is to create a little woodland home full of play, stories, nature and love, where every child feels happy, supported and encouraged to bloom.

I am an Early Years specialist with extensive experience working with children across Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
My qualifications include:

Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a strong understanding of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how children learn best through play and hands-on experiences.
I have experience supporting children with a range of individual needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and I am passionate about creating inclusive environments where every child can flourish.
