Our son (now 20m) has been under the care of Ioana for about 6 months. We have had an extremely positive experience over this time.

Ioana takes the time to ensure excellent and open communication with us. She takes a few moments during pick-up and drop-off for a quick check-in about the day and asks if there is anything she needs to know about our son. She is always quick to respond to any text messages we might send during the day. In addition, Ioana has initiated daily reports which document how much our son has slept, ate and soiled his nappy. This has really helped us to understand his day and to manage our expectations and his needs after he gets home. Ioana also writes weekly updates in our son’s communication book letting us know he is progress and interesting and fun things they do together. This has really helped us continue some of the learning at home.

We are extremely happy that our son enjoys a structured and engaging environment throughout the day, where he is exposed to positive stimulation such as singing, learning and outside play; but, when we first were looking for a childminder, it was of chief importance for us to find a place where the childminder would care about him, comfort him when he is upset, and just generally enjoy being around him. We feel extremely lucky to have found that with Ioana
