About Me

Hi my name is Samantha. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Wilstock Village in Bridgwater. I live with my partner and 2 beautiful children. My daughter who’s 7 and my son who’s 3.

As well as having 2 beautiful children, I used to do a lot of babysitting as well as working in a school and nursery. I have also worked as a nanny and looked after a boy and a girl.
I have also undertaken a Level 2 Qualification in Childcare whilst as college and lots of other relevant training.

I offer the 15 hours funding for 2 yr olds and 30 hours funding for 3&4 year olds.
I also accept childcare vouchers.

My setting is a home from home and is a calm and relaxed environment where children can play and learn as they go along and at their own pace.

I also encourage outdoor play to enhance children’s well-being involving activities in all areas of learning and development.
All activities are both adult led and child led. These are planned each day.

I’m also involved within the local community and use the local children’s centre and the church hall where they run toddlers / childminder groups. The children can mix with other children which helps by making relationships with new friends. These groups also provide a healthy snacks.

I have a large home where the living room is warm and cosy for quiet play or reading activities and a kitchen/diner where all the messy play happens. I have also got an inviting garden with a mud kitchen, where more messy and role play activities happen.
