About Me
Hi, I am a registered childminder with the care inspectorate, I am also a member of the SCMA. I live in marywell, between cove and Portlethen with my partner Scott. I have three daughters Emma 33 Leanne 31 and Laura 27. I have been childminding for over 22 years. I have a large enclosed garden for children to play. I also like taking the children to parks and soft play.

We feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful childminder for our son. She provides a safe, caring, and fun environment where our son feels truly happy and at home. What touched us most is the respect she has shown towards our religion and traditions, which means so much to us. It’s rare to find someone who not only looks after children with such love and patience, but also embraces and respects differences with genuine kindness. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Karen's childcare setting is fantastic such a nurturing, professional, loving, safe environment. My daughter loves going to Karen's and adores her.
Molly is very well cared for at Karen's and has the best relationship with Karen she sees Karen like her 2nd Mum. She has learnt so much in the last 2 years.
Communication is 2nd to none Karen is so approachable always wants the best for all children In her care.
I would highly recommend Karen if anyones looking for a childminder. I would be lost without her I go to work and not worry about Molly at all.

Karen has looked after my daughter since she was 18months old, now 5 and a half and away to start school, I can honestly say Karen has been an absolute gem! Her home is fantastic, such a beautiful setting with plenty of educational toys, arts and crafts, a huge garden with so much to do and she is always keeping the kids busy with weekly activities. Encourages new eating habits, manners and looks at all the children as if they are her own. Adapting to new and challenging behaviours and discussing ways in which could benefit us all.
My daughter and I have developed an amazing relationship with Karen, and we see her as family and I cannot thank her enough for her endless support to both Raeya and I. With our recent ASD diagnosis, it has been a pleasure having her be apart of our journey. I am so thankful to have such an amazing childminder who has put things at ease for me, all these years throughout my daughter’s time in her care. She truly has gone above and beyond to help, learn and support us. Thank you again Karen, hope to stay in touch. We will both miss you incredibly!!
