My Experience

I have over 14 years of experience working with children from 0 to 5 years in a range of early years settings, alongside being a parent myself. My experience includes roles as a Pre-school Room Leader, Deputy Manager, and Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have supported children with a wide range of needs, including children requiring additional emotional support and children with SEND.

I am confident in planning and supporting age-appropriate activities, following the EYFS, supporting school readiness, and managing daily routines such as meals, naps, toileting, and transitions. I have extensive experience supporting children’s emotional development, behaviour, and communication, and I use a calm, consistent, and nurturing approach at all times.

I am experienced in safeguarding, health and safety, and working closely with parents and professionals to ensure children receive the best possible care. I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships with children and families and providing a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive.
