About Me
Hello, I’m Louise an Ofsted registered childminder in Longlevens, established in 2016. I offer a safe, nurturing, fun home-from-home environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
I have a purpose-built garden room playroom, designed to provide a calm, engaging environment that supports early years development.
Children also enjoy a spacious, secure garden with space for outdoor exploration, sand and water play, and a wide range of learning experiences
At Louise’s childcare, children learn through a fun, play-based curriculum with a gentle balance of adult-guided activities and child-led play. Each day is shaped by their interests, with plenty of opportunities to be curious, imaginative, and expressive. Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the setting supports confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning through play and exploration.
Children take part in a wide range of experiences, including sensory play, invitations to play, music and movement, story time, mark making, early maths, role play, small world, construction, and more.
We also enjoy regularly trips into the community including- playgroups, libraries, museums, parks, and woodland walks - giving children the opportunity to build social skills and learn about the world around them.
My setting is a welcoming, calm, and engaging environment where children feel happy and secure, and are supported to develop their early skills across all areas of development.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience as an Ofsted registered childminder. I received a Good rating in my most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2024.
Alongside my experience, I am also a mum to three children of my own. My family are very supportive of my role, and we welcome all children into our home as part of the family.
My Qualifications
I hold a wide range of childcare qualifications and regularly update my training to ensure my practice remains current, safe, and high quality. My training includes:

I continue to attend regular training as it is important to me that I stay up to date with new guidance and continually develop my provision for the children in my care.
My Availability
My opening hours are Monday to Thursday, from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I accept government-funded childcare hours for eligible children aged 9 months to 5 years.
I also accept most workplace childcare vouchers and payments through the Government Tax Free Childcare scheme.
My setting is closed on Bank Holidays, and these days are not charged.
My Local Schools
