About Me
My name is Joanne, and I’m a highly experienced and fully qualified early years practitioner with a First Class Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education. I work in partnership with my husband Eric, a registered assistant, to offer a nurturing, child-focused environment. I have proudly received Outstanding gradings across my last four Ofsted inspections since 2008.
At Little Explorers, we provide a calm, engaging, play-based setting with a strong focus on communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing. Children move freely between our thoughtfully arranged indoor and outdoor areas, accessing high-quality, open-ended resources that promote creativity and exploration.
Our planning is shaped by a deep understanding of how children learn and develop. We follow the EYFS framework closely, using in-the-moment planning to capture and build upon each child’s unique interests and next steps. This approach reflects the best of current early years practice, grounded in child development theory and real-world learning.

My Experience
I have 26 years experience of caring for children from birth. This includes specialist care for children with a range of additional needs, in particular autistic spectrum disorders and Global development delay.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying for a BA (Honours) Early Childhood Degree (year 5)
Accredited to deliver the ‘Attention Hillingdon’ programme.

Joanne Hall was recommended and mentioned to me on many occasions through word of mouth and through extensive searches on the internet. Joanne is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ registered child-minder. She’s been looking after my 2 ½ year old son since October 2013 and we absolutely love her!
There is a whole array of activities and amenities my son enjoys with Joanne including a fantastic beautiful large garden, brilliant arts and craft sessions, a range of fun toys, games and books, children’s centres, trips to playgroups and other places of interest and these are just a few of the many activities and amenities offered. Joanne cooks freshly cooked meals and all nappies and wipes etc. are also inclusive.
Joanne really takes her time to structure her activities in a creative and fun way. She explains what my son has enjoyed the most in the day, the discoveries he's made and how he's developing. Whenever I have needed professional advice or any tips, Joanne is always happy to provide this to me on a 1:1 basis and I cant thank her enough for the dedicated guidance she has offered. The extensive feedback I receive on my son’s development and all the precious moments which are relayed to me are invaluable.
Joanne is a really engaging professional, and her ability to understand parents and children coupled with her gift to create the most fun, creative, loving and nurturing little world for my son is amazing. It’s her love for children and her dedicated and imaginative approach to child care that has really impressed me. Joanne is a truly outstanding professional child-minder and provides outstanding childcare. I would highly recommend her!
