About Me
Hi! I am a registered childminder based in North Anston. I have worked alongside my mum Kate for the past 13 years who is also an Ofsted registered childminder and her Ofsted outcome has been consistently good over a period of nearly 30 years. In 2023 I had my most recent Ofsed inspection and have always received a “Good” grading. I have two beautiful children of my own, my eldest is 16 years old and my youngest child is 9.
I offer a home from home care in a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children can play, learn and develop. Both inside and outside areas are clean, bright and easily accessible for children to be entertained and stimulated at all ages.
I follow the EYFS to continually plan, observe and assess the children in my care to ensure they develop and thrive within their learning. Daily diaries are completed for each child and learning journals for parents to join in and see how their child is developing is also kept up to date.
I plan enjoyable outings for the children and use our local amenities on a regular basis such as toddler groups, local parks and attractions.
I endeavour to provide the best possible care for all children in my setting and pride myself on building excellent relationships with families. All legally required training courses are constantly kept up to date to ensure the best possible care. We also offer 30 hours funded childcare places from 9months old!

My Experience
I registered in October 2015 but for 2 years previously I work as an assistant with my mum Kate.
I continually keep up to date with legally required courses and attended courses which I find beneficial to my setting and children in my care.
ICO registered & fully insured.
My Qualifications
I studied Health & Social Care Double Award and English Language at A Level in 6th Form. When I left I worked in the care sector with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Due to this line of work I have always been DBS checked and have had a huge amount of training in terms of safeguarding and the role of a care provider. I also have diplomas in Psychology, Sociology and English Languages which I achieved distinctions in all areas.
I have completed Paediatric First Aid training, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, The Early Language Development Programme, FGM & Tiny Talkers.

I have spaces available and deliver to Anston Greenlands, South Anston Hillcrest and Anston Brook (dependent on availability)
