Full-Time Nanny – Maternity cover
Location: SW11, London
Start Date: 01/09/2025
Children: Two boys, aged 9 and 6

A warm and loving family in SW11 is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their two boys, aged 9 and 6. The role is a maternity cover of at least 9 months.

The family:
Both parents work full time including 2 days a week from home and both children attend school full-time. The family includes two friendly cats
The younger child is autistic and non-verbal, he is very gentle and sweet-natured but requires some additional support with daily tasks such as getting dressed and mealtimes.

Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm. We are open to slightly different hours, our current Nanny does Monday/Wednesday 8am to 6pm, Tuesday/Thursday 8am to 7pm, Friday 1pm to 6pm

School drop-off and pick-up for both children
Supporting the younger child with daily routines and developmental needs in a nurturing and patient manner
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Light household duties related to the children, including laundry, tidying their rooms, and keeping shared spaces clean and organized
Assisting with homework, taking the children to clubs and activities
Communicating regularly with the parents and working as a team

Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience working with school-age children, experience with children with autism preferred
Kind, patient, and understanding, with a nurturing approach
Highly organised and proactive
Confident preparing nutritious meals and managing household tasks related to the children
Fluent in English
Non-smoker
Pet friendly (the family has two gentle cats)
Driving license a plus
