Hello, I’m Yasmin — a dedicated and experienced Ofsted-registered childminder based in High Wycombe. I provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging home-from-home environment for children from birth onwards.
With over 13 years of childcare experience, I am passionate about supporting each child’s development through play-based learning, meaningful daily experiences, and strong, caring relationships. I believe children thrive when they feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them at their own pace.
At Yasmin’s Childminding, I offer:
A Dedicated Playroom
A bright, well-resourced, and stimulating space designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and independent play. Activities are carefully planned to reflect each child’s interests and support their individual stage of development.
Secure Private Garden
Children benefit from daily outdoor play in a safe and secure garden environment, promoting physical development, confidence, and a love of nature.
Tailored Home-Based Activities
From sensory exploration and messy play to arts and crafts, role play, and early learning experiences, activities are thoughtfully planned to support key developmental milestones in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Daily Outings & Community Exploration
We regularly visit local parks, playgroups, libraries, soft play centres, and National Trust sites — making learning active, social, and fun while helping children build confidence and independence.
Funded Childcare Spaces Available

My Experience
I bring over 13 years of hands-on childcare experience across a variety of early years settings, caring for children of different ages, backgrounds, and individual needs.
My professional experience includes:
Key Worker – Nursery/Preschool
Supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years, planning activities in line with the EYFS, monitoring development, and building strong partnerships with parents to ensure each child thrives.
SEN Assistant
Providing dedicated support to children with Autism and additional learning needs. This role strengthened my understanding of inclusive practice, patience, communication strategies, and adapting activities to meet individual developmental requirements.
Private Nanny
Caring for multiple families with children of varying ages, including:
Twins aged 9 months and their 4-year-old sibling (4 years)
Two children aged 1 and 2 (2 years)
Three children aged 3, 5, and 8
These roles required organisation, flexibility, and the ability to support children at different developmental stages within the same household.
This wide range of experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and the importance of recognising and nurturing each child’s individual needs. Minimum Attendance
To support a smooth settling-in process and provide consistency, I require a minimum attendance of two days per week.
Regular attendance helps children build secure attachments, develop strong bonds, and feel confident within the routines of my setting. Consistency also supports their learning, social development, and overall wellbeing.

Yasmin is an incredible childminder, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the very beginning, she created a warm and safe environment that helped our child settle in with ease and gave us complete peace of mind.
About a year and a half ago, our child started as a quiet and insecure baby. With Yasmin’s patience, care, and encouragement, she has grown into a cheerful, chatty, and confident girl. Yasmin is always supportive in helping the children develop their independence and confidence.
She also makes a great effort to organise outings during half terms and the summer, giving the children wonderful opportunities to explore and learn, from visits to the farm to watching a caterpillar grow into a butterfly. She also brings the children together, helping them build strong friendships and learn important social skills like sharing and communication.
It’s clear how much thought, care, and dedication Yasmin puts into every day. She creates so many meaningful experiences and memories for the children. We are incredibly grateful for the love, patience, and guidance she has shown, and we truly appreciate the positive influence she has had in shaping our child’s confidence and personality. She’s fantastic!!

Yasmin is such an incredible childminder, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the very beginning, she created such a safe, warm, and trustworthy environment that made settling our son in so easy and completely put my mind at ease. Knowing he is in her care gives us total peace of mind.
Our son absolutely loves going there every day. Yasmin is always active and engaged with the children, taking them out to playgroups, exploring different parks, visiting museums, or discovering something new and exciting, even plane watching! There is always something fun and enriching planned.
Even when they are at home, the days are full of activities. From arts and crafts to singing, and when the weather allows, messy play and even swimming during summer. The children are constantly learning, exploring, and having fun. It’s clear how much thought, care, and love Yasmin puts into everything she does.
We are so incredibly grateful for all her hard work, dedication, and the genuine love she shows our son. Thanks to Yasmin, our little boy started walking unaided and even began talking. Milestones we will always be thankful for her support with. We honestly cannot express how grateful we are. Thank you, Yasmin, for everything you do and for all the support showed us during this tough time!

Our little boy started with Yasmin in September 2025,She does so many activities with the children going to different playgroups/ parks and lots more, she also does lots of arts and crafts with the children making lots of lovely keep sakes and celebrating many different times of year. You can see how much she cares for the children aswell as teaching them new skills. Our little boy has settled with her so well he loves Yasmin & her little girl most days he doesn’t want to leave. Very grateful and feel lucky to have such a wonderful childminder.

Yasmin is the most wonderful childminder. She is absolutely fantastic for our little child, they adore her! She took the time to build a fantastic relationship with them and always lets us know of their progress and how much fun they have had. Yasmin takes the children to the most amazing places and play groups. Our child loves going to Yasmin each week. We are so glad we found Yasmin for our child. She is so kind, caring and warm. Just what our child needs! Thank you Yasmin for being amazing!

Our son started with Yasmin (and her lovely daughter who is definitely a major bonus to her setting!) in March 2024 at just over 3. He is so happy with her and has grown so much in confidence in just a few months and is always super happy and full of smiles and stories when I pick him up. He struggles with change and new settings and Yasmin went out of her way to help him settle with her at his own pace and to reassure and update us too as to what was happening. I was always confident that she was comforting, cuddling and helping him through being upset and that if he couldn't settle she'd let us know so we could pick him up (which we never needed to). She sends really thorough updates every day and takes far more gorgeous pictures than I ever manage and our son is always telling us about things he's done with her. We were regularly told 'Yasmin says we do X / Yasmin has pink towels in her house / Yasmin has gold handles in her car' - think he was a bit obsessed for a while! We chose a childminder because we wanted our son to be out and about in the world and they absolutely are - a different playgroup every morning (but the same ones each week so now they have friends there too who they see weekly), home for lunch and then all sorts of messy play, activities, crafts and library or park visits every afternoon. Half terms and holidays are particularly fun with a packed itinerary I'm very jealous of! Cliveden, Bucks Goat Centre, the Discover Bucks Museum - somewhere different and exciting every day. Very quickly Yasmin understood our son really well and adapted to what he needs. She is really in tune with emerging interests and quickly notices things he's starting to enjoy more and then plans more activities to meet his preferences. She proactively weaves in skills like letter recognition, counting, mark-making into play and our son has also learned huge amounts academically through playing and exploring. Our son eats way better at her house than at home and she cooks all sorts of lovely meals (spag bol/salmon, noodles and veg/cottage pie/chicken curry). Quite early on when my partner was picking our son up one day (and before Yasmin or our son had seem him) he saw him mid-play just run up to Yasmin and give her a cuddle before carrying on playing; it's clear to the children too how much she cares for them. She's always super engaged, encouraging and playful with the children and our son is really thriving with her. I can't speak highly enough of Yasmin and I'm so grateful we found her!

I would highly recommend Yasmin. She looked after my little girl when I had to return back to work and the love and care she gave to her was incredible. Every day she would be doing different activities & I could see my daughter thrive over the time Yasmin looked after her. She has a room dedicated for play & exploring which my little one loved! As a first time mum I was very hesitant to leave my child with anyone, but Yasmin would put my mind at ease with pictures and communication throughout the day. Thank you so much for caring for my daughter!

Words cannot describe how grateful and lucky we have been to have found Yasmin. As a first time mum I was going through every emotion possible and Yasmin was there to offer her heartfelt support and kindness to us as a family. To watch your small child grow in confidence and everyday be filled with such excitement to try new things or see Yasmin is all you want and more.
Yasmin always put the children’s interests first, she and the children absolutely LOVE messy play, we were always updated with photos and artwork. She was just the perfect choice and fit for our family and our daughter. We cannot recommend Yasmin enough and any family/child would be lucky to have her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Yasmin as a nanny or childminder for her outstanding abilities in nurturing children’s happiness, health and good behaviour.
She was a nanny to my twin boys who were 10 months and my eldest son who was 5 years old at the time and looked after them for 4 years. My boys absolutely loved their time with Yasmin. She’s great at setting routines, eating healthy balanced meals, potty trained my twin boys, managed to get them off the dummy and bottle. Ensured my eldest son completed his homework, reading and spelling. Boys loved the play groups that they attended and their days out during the school holidays. She always made their school holidays fun and birthdays special.
She’s great at maintaining discipline in a way that’s firm but gentle. She is highly punctual, trustworthy and reliable. Yasmin’s got all the right qualities and skills to be a great childminder.

Yasmin is brilliant at her job and my children absolutely love their time with her. She is warm, caring and fun but also great a helping them learn new skills and encouraging independence.
Yasmin is well organised, patient and motivated and she always goes the extra mile to help. I could not rate her any higher, she’s fantastic.
