About Me

Home-Based Childcare Services
I provide high-quality, home-based childcare in a safe, clean, and smoke-free environment. My home includes a spacious garden with a wide range of outdoor equipment, and we are within walking distance of parks, libraries, and local playgroups—perfect for daily learning opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
I hold an M.Phil. in Human Development and Family Studies and am also a qualified counsellor with experience working in the NHS. For the past several years, I have been working as a qualified childminder.

I have over five years of experience working with children with special needs in both nursery and school settings (including work in Pakistan). I was graded Good in my last two Ofsted inspections (29.03.19 and 05.02.25).
My home includes a dedicated therapy room, and I continue to offer both counselling and childminding services.

My Practice
I strongly believe that secure attachment in the early years lays the foundation for a happy, healthy childhood. I support this through a warm, nurturing environment, enriched learning activities, and healthy, home-cooked meals.

Home Environment
Children in my care enjoy a garden with artificial grass, allowing for outdoor play throughout the year. We also keep cats, offering gentle, supervised opportunities to learn about animals.
The house has underfloor heating—something the children especially love in winter—and a bright, well-equipped playroom full of toys that support different areas of development.

Family Life & Activities
I am a mother of three boys who attend secondary school. We enjoy engaging in fun, educational activities together. In the evenings, I often drive my own and minded children to judo, swimming, and other local activities.

A Typical Day
Our days include a balance of indoor and outdoor learning experiences—visits to the park, library, soft play, and local playgroups, as well as creative, sensory, and free play at home.
I also collaborate with another local childminder to arrange playdates, helping children build social confidence.

Parents receive regular updates via WhatsApp and the Baby Day app, along with weekly plans and daily feedback at pick-up time.

Hours & Fees
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Full Day: £85
• Half Day: £65
• Holidays: 4 weeks per year (half paid)
• Funding: All types accepted
• Childcare vouchers accepted

Meals & Celebrations
I provide healthy, home-cooked meals every day. We celebrate birthdays and seasonal events—sometimes with a small treat or takeaway (always with prior parent consent).
