About Me

I am a parent and a registered childminder, living in Okehampton. I have a warm, friendly home, with lots of toys, books,crafts and equipment to engage and aid development, providing children with a comfortable, safe place to learn, make friends and have fun. I use the Tapestry learning journey to promote progressive learning through play and follow the EYFS.
We take trips to the local parks, woods and library, soft play places, toddler groups and places of interest to the children. We also enjoy lots of forest school activities.

My Experience

I have over 15 years experience with early years and have worked in preschools besides being a childminder.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 Diploma Children and Young People's Workforce. Level 2 NVQ Children's Care, Learning and Development. Level 3 Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid. I am also a qualified level 3 Forest School practitioner. I am continually updating my skills and knowledge on a regular basis.

My Availability

I specialise in Early years and therefore care for children up to 8.
My setting is typically open between 8am and 5:00pm and open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
