About Me

An honest, reliable and dependable Nanny with an overtly caring and loving nature who has a natural affinity with children. Confidence as a child carer, acquired knowledge of child development and high energy levels give the ability to provide an exceptional standard of care and education for young children. Emotional maturity, empathy and dedication to my role assist me in forming close working relationships with children and families.
Keen to find a loving family in which I am able to continue to increase my work experience and develop my abilities in a full time, live out role.

My Experience

My duties whilst the children are in my care consisted of:
• ensuring the safety and well-being of both of the children
• Preparing varied and nutritionally balanced meals

• Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and hygiene routines are kept

• Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I remained their Nanny and had been homeschooling the eldest, using a combination of resources provided through the school and our own.
Unfortunately, my time had to come to an end with this family due to them moving up the North Yorkshire.
Within my time with this family I have grown very close to the children and formed strong bonds which I hope continues even beyond my time as their nanny.

Mother’s-help for a family consisting of two children aged 1 years old and 3 years old. Although having occasional sole charge this was majority a mother’s-help role. Both children had severe allergies so ensuring the children were kept clear of any allergens that could cause a reaction was vital.
My responsibilities:
• Dressing the children
• Taking the children out for walks and to the park to play
• Pick up and drop off from nursery
• Feeding the youngest and assisting with the weaning process
•Administering anti-histamine when an allergic reaction was taking place- reducing the necessity to use the epi-pen

I have experience working as a part-time sole charge with some shared care Nanny, this was with a family with two young children ages 2 years and 4 years. Here my duties included:
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children
• Preparing varied and nutritionally balanced meals
• Providing stimulating play and educational opportunities
• Toilet training of the youngest child
• Taking the children out for walks, and to the local parks and woods
• Promoting and enforcing hygiene routines.

Also have experience as a Mother’s help as part of an educational placement with a family of four, consisting of Mum, Dad, and twin baby boys. I was caring for the boys from age 8 months until 13 months old. I also had contact and meet ups with them from around 6 months, allowing them to get used to their new help.
My duties within this role included:
• Supporting with baby-led weaning
• Changing nappies and clothing
• Preparing bottled formula and feeding the babies
• Following and keeping to a routine
• Ensuring excellent hygiene standards of myself, the babies and our environment
• Providing stimulating, fun play
• Safeguarding from harm and danger
Within this placement I formed strong bonds and relationships with each family member, I feel I had a positive influence upon the children’s lives, ensuring they were safe, happy and nurtured within my care.

I have also had educational placements within a Nursery school and a SEN school.
Working within these placements assisting teachers ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children and caring for their everyday needs and routines.
