About Us

RKS Brightsparks is a family friendly educational day care setting, offering a stimulating learning environment, delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to a high standard.

We assist parents getting back to work, by providing the Free Funded hours for children from the age of 9 months and paid childcare from the age of 3 months. We are a small but homely setting, supporting children and families with their learning and development. We aim to meet the demands and needs of parents and the local community.

Our teaching style is to teach children based on their individual needs. Each child has their own learning plans to support their learning and build upon the foundations they already have through home. We ensure every child is ready for the transition to school reception by the time they leave our setting.

This welcoming nursery fosters an inclusive environment where children arrive eager to learn. Staff prioritise independence and communication skills development, with particular attention to disadvantaged children and those with special educational needs. Good behaviour is promoted through positive role modelling. Improvements could be made in providing tailored guidance to parents for at-home learning and enhancing staff interactions during outdoor play.
