About Me

Hi Mummies & Daddies.

My name is Charlotte I am a fluent English speaker born and raised in London. I hold a Full Drivers' License, with my own vehicle and Comprehensive Cover for Transportation of children.

I consider myself to be an energetic and organised individual who loves nurturing the development of all children and abilities. I enjoy dancing, cooking, exploring outdoors when the weather is willing, getting arty with simple home items and creative-play on those dull rainy days. I am a very family-orientated person who is looking for a fun family, who share my values and will enjoy having an extra set of capable hands at home.

I am currently employed working a Nanny Share with 2 wonderful families in the SE26 area, and am looking to replace some hours whilst my boss takes her maternity leave Feb-Sept 2021.

WHAT IM LOOKING FOR:

*Full Time, Live Out Role
*40-50hrs a week:
- @ £15p/h for sole families
- @ £18p/h for Nanny shares
*A family who would benefit from a Nanny with a license
*To start between January - February 2023

Any questions or interest please feel free to get in touch directly via my email. Any documents/certificates will also be shared this way.

I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you so much for taking an interest.

My Experience

I have a total of 9 years experience working with young people, infants and babies.

WITHIN MY COMMUNITY : 2009-2015

My earlier experiences stem from my previous roles working and volunteering within Hounslow Borough. I worked as a member of the Youth Council organising workshops to benefit the development of the school age generation. I organised key skills training, safeguarding workshops, inclusion within school seminars and local youth events. Soon after I was offered a Youth Worker position assigned to a local performance arts company. There I trained and taught dance lessons for ages 5 to 16 years old, whilst working together with the local councils and community to host several performances and shows throughout the year. These shows allowed children to showcase their talents as soloists, or as part of a performance group, and provided them with a fully immersive experience of live shows, studio and theatre rehearsals/performances, whilst embodying key life skills such as teamwork, independence, overcoming fears, and the importance of performance. It was truly a wonderful experience to be a part of and an honour to watch the transformations and confidence boost in many of the young people who I met during my time there.

SCHOOLS & NURSERIES: 2013-2016

Agency work: Supreme Recruitment

To broaden my experiences and training I worked in many local primary schools and nurseries as a Teaching/Nursery Assistant. In schools I worked primarily in SEN/D departments which serve my qualifications, in addition to my exposure to EYFS and mainstream KS1/KS2 classrooms. During this time I was able to learn Makoton, and complete behavioural management training amongst other classroom and engagement skills and techniques.

During half term when schools were closed I would often be relocated to nurseries where I worked in all rooms including babies, and after care.

NANNYING: 2015-Present

My nannying experiences began after making good relationships within the nurseries and schools I had worked at. Soon I stopped working at nurseries altogether and instead replaced the work with reliable half term nanny duties with various families in my local area or schools. I took on the usual nursery duties and was responsible for multiple siblings, preparing yummy and balanced meals, light housekeeping, playdates and activities.

In June 2017 I began a full time sole charge, live out position (boy, 3) and then relocated with the family south of the river. My role included all regular nanny duties in addition to language development, home tutoring, preschool prep, and overseas hours.

From July 2020 I changed role and with all the uncertainty caused by Covid-19, decided to register with Ofsted so that I could become a Key Worker and continue to be of assistance. I am currently in a Nanny Share with 2 wonderful families and their amazing children ages G20months, G3.5years, B15months and G3.5years.

I hope to be of help to any families within a 5 mile radius of my local area who are seeking child care that provides consistency, reliability and a sense of relief in your times of chaos.
