About Me

I have been in the childcare industry since 2003 as an Early Years Childcare Practitioner. I have acquired many years of experience working with babies from 0 to Young Adults up to 18years. I enjoy looking after children of all ages whilst providing a fun, caring, and educational approach. I am fully vaccinated. Available to do 'ad hoc' positions over the Christmas and New Year season 2025/6. I have cat allergies.

My Experience

I have two grown-up daughters and a granddaughter. I have worked in various childcare settings and organisations, ranging from babysitting as a teenager to working in nurseries, schools, and a specialist Behavioural Unit setting for Young Adults with ADHD, Autistic & Young Adults with Complex Needs & Challenging Behaviour with Mental Health Issues. I enjoy encouraging and giving children good advice to become 'Motivated' with positivity, whilst enabling forward-thinking skills to overcome challenging situations. Experience with Non-verbal communication skills. autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour.

I have CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Early Years & Education. NVQ Level 2 in Pre-school practice. Certified in Child Protection/Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, Risk Assessment, Food and Hygiene. Teenagers with Challenging Behaviour, Childcare Insurance. I'm Covid 19 vaccinated. Allergic to cats, C & G Level 3 in Award in Education & Training (PTTLs) (July 2023)- Paediatric First Aid July 2024, YOUTH MENTOR trained.

I am available every day for all childcare services needed. I am also available to babysit and nanny in North London and Hertfordshire areas (ad hoc)
