About Me

Hello and thank you for looking at my profile!

Mum of 2, 9 years childcare experience.

I am an extremely family orientated person, spending as much time making memories with my family. We love spending time outdoors, finding new adventures and of course playing! I am married with a daughter who is 5 and a son who is 3 and we have a lovely warm, welcoming and cosy home.

I am a really creative person, I like to set up fun activities for Blake's little explorers and observe children's responses to it. I then really look forward to sharing these lovely moments with the families too. I love to engage in the children's current interests and plan our days around, such as going on a dinosaur hunt or having a space disco at home. We have such fun with rolling with our ideas and seeing where it can take us, part of being a child is using our imaginations right?!

I gained most of my childcare experience working with mixed age groups of under 5's in nursery settings. I have spent long periods of time with specific age groups as well as applying my own first hand knowledge of having my own two children. I then started childminding after I had my first child, which was going really well, building great relationships with families.

I moved during the pandemic so now have a playroom and a garden to offer new families. We have the Riverside walk right next to our house as well as lots of local parks. I am very close to Holbrook and North Heath school. I will be doing school pick ups and drop offs at Holbrook only.

My Experience

I orginally started childcare as an apprentice at a nursery. I quickly grew to love the job. Infact it wasn't a job for me, it was so rewarding to watch the children achieve massive milestones with the help of me! It was so exciting to share with parents at the end of the day what their child was up to and instantly see their comforting smiles on their faces that they knew their children was learning and developing well. I was able to learn about child development and the early years foundation stage which is the framework I use now.

I persued my career and went onto to work in another nursery in a different area. It was great to work with a mixture of different parents from different cultures and be able to learn more about them. We enjoyed eid parties, diwali celebrations and christmas concerts. I worked 4 days a week at nursery and 1 day a week training. I passed my diploma six months early and went to work in a different nursery at a higher role. I have worked with many families with children who have many different needs. I have been a key person and have been responding for children's learning journals. I have supported children through learning to walk, talk, behavioural changes and toilet training. Over the years I have been apart of so many children's lives and that will stay with me. The early years is an amazing age to work with and I feel so grateful that I am able to help shape our future generation.

I decided to become a childminder after my daughter was born so that I could work with her. I loved my job and didn't want to stop helping families, so I've worked after to complete the relevant training and set up my home to open up and welcome new family members..

Natasha has looked after my two children from when they were toddlers and continues to do so now that they're older and in primary school. She provides a warm, friendly and safe environment for them to learn, play and be themselves, which is a major factor for me personally - especially after having bad experiences with childminders in the past.

Natasha herself is a kind and caring childminder who really gives her all to her job - which you can see with how the children are around her and when they talk about what they have done with her. She really does care and not just about the welfare of your child, but about their development too.

If you're looking for a childminder who is responsible, polite, kind, caring and takes pride in her work as well as looking after your child at the highest standard, provides an inviting and homely environment, then I couldn't recommend Natasha enough. She really is the best.

Natasha has looked after my little boy for a while now.
At first I was nervous leaving him because he has really bad separation anxiety. But when I dropped and left him for the first time he straight away felt comfortable and went and played. He is so happy to go there now and it really reassures me that he is in safe hands.
Not only does Natasha look after him but she is helping him to develop she does learning play and lots of different activities she tells me about at the end of the day. I would highly recommend her!
