My Experience
I bring over 11 years of professional childcare experience, working with children from 3 months to 12 years old in both nursery and after-school settings including extensive work supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
For the past 8 years, I’ve worked as a nanny and household manager within private homes, providing a seamless blend of childcare, home organisation, and family support. My responsibilities have included:
• Managing daily routines & school runs
• Organising enriching outings & activities
• Preparing nutritious, child-friendly meals with optional personalised weekly meal plans
• Handling household duties, including laundry, tidying, & pet care
• Accompanying children to medical appointments and supporting their wellbeing
I hold the following qualifications:
•Level 2 and Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare
•Level 2 in Health & Social Care
•Level 2 in Supporting a Child with Autism in the Classroom
•Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding (Valid)
•Plus a range of CPD-certified childcare and development courses (documents available on request)
I have strong knowledge of child development, SEN, and the EYFS framework, and I tailor my care approach to meet each child’s unique personality, learning style, and emotional needs.

Tamicka has been our 30 hour a week nanny Mon to Fri since May this year looking after my sons aged 5 and 7. Unfortunately our circumstances have changed and we are letting Tamicka go with sadness. She has been a very reliable and energetic addition to our family: great attitude, great help, great instincts. I would highly recommend Tamicka and am happy to provide oral references.
