About Me
We love the outdoors and spend lots of time adventuring in nature! You'll often find us visiting parks, farms, woods and nature reserves - searching for bugs, exploring the world around us and getting wonderfully muddy in all weathers.
We enjoy being part of our local community with regular trips to the library and playgroups. We also join other local childminders for shared activities, giving the children a chance to make even more friends.
Our homely playroom and garden offer plenty of opportunities for open-ended play, creativity, imagination and learning through exploration. We love snuggling up to share stories, singing together and having a good dance.
We take time to notice what children are interested in and build on these ideas through meaningful experiences. We find a natural balance between gently guiding each child's learning and following their own child-led direction. This allows every child to learn at their own pace, in a way that feels meaningful and joyful to them.
Working with parents is really important to us. We share daily updates and photos and celebrate achievements together, keeping families included throughout their child's journey.
Our goal is to help nurture kind, happy and curious little learners who become increasingly independent, confident and able to flourish in their own unique way.
We also off holiday and wraparound childcare for Telford Infant School and Telford Junior School.
My Experience
I hold a BA in Early Childhood Education, MA in Social Work and attend regular training to keep my knowledge and practice up to date.
I have a wide background within the early years, health and social care sectors and I've worked with children since the very start of my career. It is truly the best job in the world and I feel so lucky to do it every day!

We cannot recommend Vicky highly enough! She has cared for our three children for years - sometimes after school and frequently during the holidays. She understands each child as an individual, is endlessly positive, flexible, and creates the most wonderful balance of outdoor adventures and creative play at home. We never worry for a moment when our children are with her, and in their words: “Vicky always takes us to the best parks!”

Vicky had been childminder for a number or years to my two young sons. Both boys tried nursery in their early years and couldn’t settle. Vicky is above and beyond what any nursery setting has to offer. She’s kind, empathetic, high energy and has a love for the outdoors and creative play. Over the many years my boys have been with Vicky not once have I had to worry about them. Not only does her home offer an environment for play and rest it’s also a safe place where children can explore and be their true selves. Vicky is the sweetest soul and children (and parents) love her. Her values are grounded and she offers such a wholesome approach to childcare. She’s a natural with children and from the bottom of my heart feel nothing but gratitude in knowing that she has played a significant role in the development of my two boys- and she continues to do so. She’s a wonderful role model and any one who has children would be lucky to secure her as their childminder. She’s one in a million and we can’t thank her enough for all she does.

Finding the right childcare was important to me when I was choosing schools and I'm am so so glad we found Vicky. She's made such a difference to my daughter's life in ways that go well beyond the school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Since starting with her, my daughter's social skills have really improved. She's become much more confident around other children and enjoys interacting with them. Vicky has been patient, kind and encouraging, which has really helped her come out of her shell.
What really shows how much she enjoys it is that she asks to go, even on days when she's not scheduled, she even gets upset when I pick her up a few minutes early as she always wants to stay to the end!
She genuinely loves spending time there, and I can see how well cared for she is. It's a lovely, warm environment where she feels super comfortable and happy.
I honestly can't put into words what a difference this has made to both of us since she started school. Vicky has given me peace of mind and helped my daughter thrive, and I'm eternally grateful for that .

My son is in year 6 and has been with Vicky since starting school in reception. This setting has been a “home from home” for our son. We are so grateful we found Vicky and her family.
She is incredibly reliable and her communication is excellent but mostly her love, care, interest and thoughtfulness is what sets her apart. I have a 100% confidence in recommending Vicky.
It will be an incredibly sad goodbye when we leave the Kinghams next year after all these years.

I cannot recommend our childminder highly enough. She was absolutely amazing with our daughter, Sofia. Every day was a new adventure — from fun trips out to creative activities at home — and Sofia always came back smiling and full of stories. The level of care and attention she gave was incredible; she treated Sofia as if she were her own.
It gave me such peace of mind knowing that Sofia was safe, happy, and truly cared for. Her kindness, patience, and enthusiasm made such a positive impact on Sofia, and we’re so grateful for everything she did for us. Anyone would be lucky to have her look after their little one!

We can’t recommend Vicky highly enough, she gave our son the best start in childcare we could have asked for.
We loved Vicky’s child centered approach and she was conscious to follow our sons’ routine which helped him settle well.
Vicky updated us daily with photos, videos and info about their day which kept us in the picture and made us feel at ease.
Our son loved going to Vicky’s and playing with the other children. His development and social skills benefited hugely. We miss her!

I knew as soon as I met Vicky that she would be the perfect childminder! My daughter adored going to Vicky's house. Vicky was brilliantly flexible and managed to fit my daughter in during the height of the pandemic. We have so many photos to remember all the adventures they went on and the exciting places they visited while with Vicky. I couldn't fault Vicky's care and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and fun childminder!

Vicky is an absolute angel. We were so lucky that both our children were able to benefit from being in the loving, fun and stimulating environment that she provides the children in her care. The experiences she provides are wonderful, age appropriate and the children have so much fun. She really gets to know the children and offers a home from home, communication is excellent and the photos she takes and sends to parents during the day are a fantastic insight into what they're all getting up to and as a parent it's great to see how happy the little ones are. I cannot recommend Vicky enough and only wish my little ones could stay with her forever!
