An energetic, ambitious individual who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any tasks undertaken. I am a punctual and motivated individual who is able to work in a busy environment and produce high standards of work. My previous experiences enables me to communicate professionally and effectively with customers. I am extremely keen to obtain new skills and training. I have a flexible approach to all work situations and find it easy to adapt. I was previously in a boarding school where I lived for six years, there I learnt valuable skills such as team building, communicating and multi tasking. I am a genuinely kind and warm hearted person who pushes themselves to reach their goals in life. For example one of my goals was to apply for Norland college. My Experience

Leiths food and wine certificate (Merit)
I took this course at school which I was committed to attending every Tuesday after school for a year. I passed the course with a Merit and have learnt many valuable skills.

Placement experience - Norland -2018

Widcombe School - At Widecombe placement I work in year 1 (5-6 year olds). My roll was to support my teacher and assist the children when needed. I took up rolls such as helping with spelling, maths and reading. I worked with some children on a one on one based when they needed extra support to ensure they were keeping up with the class. This also gave the children an opportunity to have one on one support they wouldn't have normal. One on one support offered me a great advantage when building relationships with the children and staff . I also helped with lunches and school trips which encouraged me to try new things. I loved my time working at Widecombe school and felt I learn at lot from the children and teachers both from relationships and experiences.

Mulberry Kidz Nursery - At Mulberry Kidz I was based in the toddler room where we would do different activities every day to support the children’s PSED. Mulberry Kidz was a very open nursery and encouraged the children to explore their outside surroundings this was accompanied by amazing outdoors facilities including a mud kitchen and a real-life boat for the children to play on. I was involved in many different activities such as cooking, cornstarch slime, painting, reading and of course fancy dress. Overall I feel I learnt valuable skills and activity ideas that I can use every day with children.

Family placement-My roles on placement included:
Nappy changing
Bath time
Laundry duties
making beds/maintaining the cleanliness of the household
Cooking both hot and cold meals every day for myself and the children
Making up bottles
Keeping up and respecting the family’s routine within my practice

Little willows-At Little Willows I was based in the toddler room which included the three attending babies. Here I created daily activities for children aged 10 month - 3 years to join in with. I also was involved in snack duty and nappy changing with in our room. I felt It was a great experience and I learned new skills I will take with me to future jobs.

Nannying Job-Over the past year I have been luckily enough to care for a bubbly, energetic and sweet 7 year old girl. This has taught me the importance of time management when collecting her from school. Taking on sole responsibilities three evenings a week to provide the best care and relationship possible. Through this I have built up a dependable relationship with both the child and family.

REFRENCE LIST

Jacqueline Thorogood

Celeste has been a reliable, hardworking and dedicated employee at Vida Comida over the past two years. Her enthusiastic approach to her work has been remarkable, and she was easily able to put customers at ease. Her level of customer service was consistently excellent. She was also able to work extremely well as part of a team and was always polite and driven. Celeste went above and beyond expectations, and she was able to work many hours, often at short notice. It has been a privilege working with her.

Greg Bennett-

Celeste looked after our 1 year old daughter Indi for an afternoon and evening, some of which time was spent with another nanny and her wards (our daughters cousins). It was the first time I had left my child with a non-family member and I felt entirely comfortable doing so with Celeste.

She is a confident, mature and capable pair of hands and took on board my instructions and anxieties with calm consideration, updating me throughout the day on how Indi was doing which was extremely reassuring. She took our daughter to the park, fed her lunch and got her down for a nap, after I returned to feed Indi in the evening (she is entirely breastfed) Celeste then babysat her for the evening.

I would definitely recommend Celeste, and will be using her services again in the future.
