We are a busy family with two children (aged 6 and 8, going into Year 2 and Year 4) looking for a reliable, organised and caring Nanny/PA to support our family both at home and with day-to-day administration. The role is a combination of childcare, light household support, and personal assistant duties.
My Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare:
• School runs (drop-offs and pick-ups)
• Taking children to after-school clubs and activities
• Supervising and caring for the children during school holidays
• Supporting with homework, play, and age-appropriate activities
Household Support:
• Light tidying and maintaining a neat household environment
• Preparing and cooking simple family meals
• Running the dishwasher
• Taking bins out when needed
• Walking the family dogs
Personal Assistant Duties:
• Making payments and bank transfers on behalf of the family
• Booking flights, travel, and occasional reservations
• Renewing household and car insurance policies
• Monitoring rental income from buy-to-let properties
• Liaising with tradespeople for household maintenance or repairs
• Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
• Prior experience as a nanny, family assistant, or similar combined role
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident managing household admin (e.g. online banking, bookings, insurance renewals)
• Driving licence
• Pet-friendly (comfortable walking and being around dogs)
• Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently

* Recent DBS check and up to date first aid course

* References and appropriate qualifications

* Available 5 days a week
Hours & Flexibility:
• Full time role: 40-45 hours per week
• Flexibility required for occasional evening babysitting
• Competitive salary, in line with experience (approx. £40-50k gross p.a.)
