I am an ofsted registered childminder in Denmead, Hampshire. I have worked in childcare for my whole working life, I have worked in Nursery’s, After school/holiday camps and also as an ofsted registered Nanny & as a childminder since July 2020.
I enjoy working with children of all ages and particularly love how no two days are the same. I enjoy being able to get outdoors for walks, go to the playground, feeding the ducks aswell as swimming and messy play.
I have two of my own children Eloise who is 4 years old and Harry aged 8. We do not have any pets. We have a play room very well stocked with a range of toys suitable for all ages. Our large garden provides amazing learning opportunities, we also have a range of ‘outdoor’ toys and equipments such as sand and water trays, balance bikes and ride ons.
Visits are more than welcome.
Settling in sessions are also available.
My Experience
I have worked in an after school club/holiday play scheme with children aged between 4 and 12.
I also worked in two lovely day nursery’s mainly with children aged between 1 and 3 as a room leader but i have worked across all of the age groups.
I also worked as an ofsted registered nanny for a number of years, Looking after children aged from 6 months to 8 years.. including nanny shares where I looked after four or more children at a time.
I registered as a childminder in February 2020 and finally starting working as a childminder in July 2020.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in childcare learning and development
Paediatric first aid certificate and Epi pen training
Safeguarding children
Food Safety and hygiene
Outstanding practices
Maths and Literacy in early years
I am an ofsted registered childminder with relevant insurances and qualifications! Myself and all family members hold valid DBS certificates.
Qualifications and training are very important to myself, I regularly keep up to date with relevant childcare training.
My Availability
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday spaces available.
Wrap around also available for Denmead schools.
I work Monday - Thursday 7am - 7pm.
I am also able to provide school drop offs and collections for Denmead infant school & Denmead Junior school.
Visits are most welcome
Settling in sessions are also available to all new children.
