I am happy, friendly, reliable and caring lady who loves to support and care for children.
Professionally, I currently teach Reception class within a Devon Independent Prep School.
I have been working with children of all ages for many years now and continue to complete further training (MEd) to expand my understanding and knowledge of the early years of a child's life.
I love to work with children and I truly believe that there is no greater joy than helping a child to explore, learn and develop within the world around them, supporting them to become the best they can possibly be and developing a love of life.
Personally I am a very happy person who is always smiling and looking on the positive side of life. In my spare time I love to bake, cook, read and spend time with my family and friends. I am a very active person and have many sporting hobbies including rock climbing and swimming.
I live with my partner and we are a military family. I have also previously nannied for 3 wonderful families and have taught in schools with boarding and military connections. This allows me to have a clear understanding and knowledge of how to support and best care for children who are experiencing being away from their parents for any period of time.
My Experience
I have had many years worth of experience working with children of all ages in various settings, both within educational and extra curricular environments. I currently have the pleasure of teaching in a wonderful school and supporting 4/5 year old children in my Reception Class. I have previously taught within the primary sector (both Independent and State), been a room leader within an Independent Nursery and nannied for 3 different families.
