About Me
Welcome to Kookie’s Adventure!
My name is Mariya and I live with my husband, and our 2 lovely boys, aged 6 and 9.
Our kids attend Silver End Academy, which is around 10 minutes walk from our house.
We live in a New Built house, with a big garden that has a big Pirate Ship climbing frame, with a slide, swings, a bridge, a table with a bench and a space for sand play.
We will have so much fun in the garden with scooters, cars, bikes, obstacles, water play, a sand pit, reading books, playing different games, basketball and football activities, and of course doing gardening, such as planting fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
Inside the house, there is a Play Room, which has a book shelf with varieties of books, play kitchen where children will use their imagination to cook some delicious meals. They will use the counter to pay for their orders, a shopping basket and a trolley to put their food in it.
There is also an open shelf with small world toys such as cars, dinosaurs, wild and farm animals. There are also building blocks, magnetic shapes, dolls hairdressing, doctor’s kit, number/shape/alphabet puzzles and dressing up clothes. There are baby dolls in a buggy too.
The children will have the opportunity to do mark making, and to practise their letter and number formation. We will also have different topics every week and a book of the week. We will sing lots of nursery rhymes and many counting and alphabet songs. We will also do wake and shake in the morning and some Yoga in the afternoon.
In the kitchen, we will be doing lots of Arts and Crafts activities and of course some messy play. We will also make a play dough, and do some cooking and baking activities!
We will go on a trip to the library and meet with other Childminders in the village for Stay and Play sessions.

We absolutely love Mariya. My son knew her from nursery and as soon as I found out she would be working as a childminder, I put his name down. He goes 3 days a week after school and is so happy there. Mariya takes a lot of time preparing themes for each week and ensuring there's appropriate toys and learning materials for all ages. She is kind, caring and her home is lovely. I wouldn't want my son to go anywhere else.

I never wanted to use a childminder for my daughter but I needed better hours on a Monday and Mariya was recommended by another mum at the nursery my daughter attends.
As soon as I walked into her home and met her I felt really comfortable that Mariya would be a good fit for Nina, and that has continued to present day.
Mariya will always tell parents about what she is teaching the children, she encourages independence and knowledge.
I feel Nina learns a lot from her time there. And she also enjoys it. She will always give Mariya a hug when she leaves and I know that she has had a good time.
Mariya is a very kind, supportive and easy going woman and I would thoroughly recommend her to everyone.
