My name is Carlene i am 31 years of age, i have been working with children of all ages for around 9 years. I currently have a NVQ 5 in leadership & management childrens residential care. I am currently running a children’s home in Luton, where i work with children with complex needs which does take a lot of patience. I have previously worked with a child with an aquired brain injury where by i supported him through his day to day living. I throughly enjoy working with children and helping them gain their full potential in order to maintain a good healthy lifestyle. I believe i am very good at building positive interpersonal relationships between families, children and collegues. I am a person that will always get involved in activities whether it be the messiest, i enjoy being involved and im not scared to get my hands dirty but also remembering that there are rules and firm boundaries that should be in place.
