About Me

I was born in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in England in 1957. I speak a little Hungarian and currently waiting for the results of my BSL level 2 examination, part 3.

My Experience

I have been a registered childminder for 28 years. I have attended numerous courses and workshops over the years such as MAKATON, recognising and helping children with various disabilities to grow and develop, learning through play, encouraging language and communication etc. I currently run a drop-in for parents/carers and their pre-schoolers (term time only) and was involved in the running of a learning through music group for 5 years.

My Qualifications

NVQ Early Years Childcare & Education, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding & Child Protection for Childminders: level 1, Food Safety, Makaton, BSL level 1

My Availability

At the moment I am not childminding full time as I am caring for my elderly mum, but would be interested in taking children to school.
