About Me
I am a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher with a strong background in Key Stage 1, where I specialised in phonics and end-of-KS1 assessments. Currently teaching in Year 6, I have a deep understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the expectations of the SATs.
I offer personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on Key Stage 2 SATs preparation in Maths, Reading, and SPaG. My sessions are carefully designed to target specific learning needs, strengthen key skills, and build exam confidence.
Through a supportive and encouraging approach, I help each child develop the knowledge, strategies, and self-belief needed to achieve their best possible results in the Year 6 SATs.
My Experience
I have over six years of teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I spent four years teaching in Year 2, where I developed a strong expertise in early literacy, phonics, and end-of-key-stage assessment preparation, followed by a year in Year 1 supporting early reading and foundational skills. I am currently teaching in Year 6, where I focus on preparing pupils for their Key Stage 2 SATs. Throughout my career, I have led phonics across the school and delivered SATs booster sessions, helping children build confidence and achieve success in their learning.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
Each session is carefully tailored to meet your child’s individual needs and targets, ensuring focused, effective learning time.
£35 per hour – ideal for in-depth learning, exam preparation, and targeted practice across subjects.
£20 per half hour – perfect for focused revision sessions or ongoing skills development.

Alice has been teaching our daughter for a few weeks and she's been great. Alice responded quickly to our request, and all correspondence has been professional and friendly. Her current relevant knowledge is a huge bonus for the kids she teaches and allows her to pick up on the areas where they are struggling.
Our daughter is excited to welcome Alice each week and actually asked if she could come more! Would highly recommend.
