•About Me•
I am bubbly, reliable, energetic, patient and deeply passionate about the learning, well-being, and development of the children in my care. I take my role seriously but always bring plenty of fun, love, imagination, and adventures indoors and out! I live by “play is the work of the child” and will encourage this in all its forms.
My childcare journey began with GCSE Child Development, followed by work in nurseries from age 19. I’ve worked with children and families from all backgrounds, attended extensive training, and developed a strong interest in learning through play based on each child’s unique interests.
After 10 years in nurseries (including being a Room Leader), I moved into nannying to focus more on the children and less on paperwork. Since then, I’ve supported over 30 families, working with children from newborn to 10 years in full-time, part-time, and ad hoc roles.

•Ad Hoc & Temporary Nannying•
Since 2021, I’ve specialised in freelance ad hoc and temporary nannying. This means I can provide childcare on a:

- AS & WHEN
- OCCASIONAL
- FLEXIBLE
- LAST-MINUTE basis
Perfect for families who:
- Have regular childcare but need backup
- Experience school/nursery closures or staff absences
- Need coverage for work commitments, appointments, or self-care days

I’m also open to fixed day positions if the role is the right fit.

•Bonus: Nanny with Own Child•
During daytime jobs, I sometimes bring along a little apprentice, my son Freddie who was born in July 2023. He comes well-equipped for the day with everything he needs, including food, toys & a double pram. He attends a term time nursery on Wednesday - Friday mornings. Unfortunately we do not have our own village so he will continue to accompany me to work in the afternoons & school holidays.

- I hold public liability insurance with NannyInsure & have a DBS on the update service.

My Availability
An initial phone/video call with families is needed before taking on any work, to get to know each other a little better & to explore your needs. Prior to the call I will send over the Nanny Casey bio. If both parties are happy to move forward, we can then arrange a face to face interview with yourself & child at a spot convenient to you. I come to this alone so you can meet me as a professional & not a mum. If we agree we are a fit, we then arrange another 1 hour playdate with my son if necessary.
Please be aware I cannot undertake any work without my parent pack fully filled out fully.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Ad hoc/Temp work:
DAYTIME NANNYING (9am-7pm)
with my son £20ph / without £22ph
EVENING BABYSITTING (from 7pm) £18ph
TAX FREE CHILDCARE ACCEPTED
(Please notes my fee's take into account the tax & pension that I pay as a self employed worker, this price is non negotiable.)
50% non refundable booking fee is required to secure any hours/days requested.
I charge a minimum of 3 hours (4 hours if travel is needed).

Nanny Casey looks after both of my sons (one is almost 3 and the other 3 months) on an ad hoc basis. She is great with both of them - full of energy and enthusiasm. I am very selective about who I leave my boys with and I couldn't recommend Casey highly enough. My eldest has some additional needs and is not speaking yet and Casey is very sensitive to his needs and manages his behaviour extremely well, understanding what can be triggering for him. She is very reliable and trustworthy. The boys and I feel lucky to have found her!

Nanny Casey was an absolute lifesaver for my family and I. I got in touch with her after my second baby was a few months old and I needed a few hours a week to run errands and catch up with work, and Casey came to my rescue. My baby absolutely LOVES her and I felt completely secure leaving him in her care. She was wonderful with him, kept him stimulated with age-appropriate activities and helped with weaning as well which was fantastic. I feel very lucky to have found her and I can't recommend Casey more highly - she is the best!

Casey joined us when my twin boys were 2. She’s been with us now for a couple of months and since her arrival the boys have flourished! I can only echo the words of the other reviews and add.
Casey was able to quickly understand both boys as individuals, picking up well on their preferences and needs; whilst bringing her creative flair adding to their lives. She has been amazing at organising the boys toy box and encouraged toy rotation to help engage and drive the boys development.
What sets her apart from others is she is not afraid of mess and cleaning it all up, in fact she encourages it! She’s organised and brings activities with her that she knows will grab the attention of the boys individually. She is involved not just when she is working but takes an interest in the boys even when she isn’t. She is passionate about learning and I can see the wealth of knowledge she has gathered over the years when she engages with the twins.
Casey is someone who is a true childcare professional and has opened my eyes to the difference the right childcare can make to the growth and development to the boys. I highly recommend Nanny Casey!
