About Me
I have been married for 23 years and I am a mother to Daniel who is 35 years old and Ruby who is 15 years old.
I live in Higher Blackley just off Victoria Avenue.
I have a large playroom on the side of my house for the children, this is filled with a wide variety of toys and resources which cover each area of learning to help the children learn and develop through purposeful play. I also have an enclosed garden which leads of my playroom for the children to enjoy the outside environment and lots of outdoor toys ie: sand pit, water table, cars, climbing frame, playhouse etc. I attend the sure start centres on a weekly basis to let the children enjoy and join in with various activities and also to get them used to playing alongside other children in order to prepare them for nursery, I also pay lots of visits to the park, library, sensory room, Wacky Warehouse and various playgroups. I do detailed learning journeys for all the early years children in my setting in order to track their progress and to support their next steps in all areas in order for them to progress in both the prime and specific areas of learning and development.
I am registered with Ofsted and had my third inspection in August '2022 and was very happy to maintain my OUTSTANDING grading for the second time.
My Experience
I have completed the childminding pre registration course which included training in safeguarding children, food hygiene, child development and I am first aid qualified. I have recently completed further training to support my practice this includes a speech & language course, child development & observations course and SENCO, HENRY training and much more, and do so on regular intervals to improve my knowledge in my childminding career. I also attend the network childminding meetings in order to keep up to date with any changes to the requirements or legislations in the EYFS or with Ofsted. I have recently completed a course with EYPD containing useful knowledge and resources to help children in a range of areas. I have also just completed the best practice Senco level 3 course (Aug 2023.) I also accept the free government funding for 15 & 30 hours per week for children aged from 9 months, 2,3 & 4 years. I am also a member of PACEY.
My Qualifications
I have completed my level 3 training in childcare. I also update my knowledge on regular occasions as carry out lots of relevant training to enhance my service. I have carried out training for SENCO and completed a course in this to give me more experience in this area. I have also completed the Dingleys Promise which again is focused on caring for children with additional needs, this has helped to gain a lot more experience and knowledge in this area. Courses completed in Aug 2023 are Level 3 Senco. I attend various training sessions throughout the year in order to reflect on my setting and to give me new ideas of play to use in my setting.

I do not offer school pick ups at the moment.
I accept the government funding for 15 & 30 hours childcare.

Tracey is undoubtedly the best! It has broken our hearts leaving Tracey to move away with work. If we could, we would've brought her with us. We were blessed to have found her and can't recommend enough! The set up she has is amazing, more than enough room (and freshly painted nursery) and plenty of outdoor space (with lots of new toys). The activities she does with the kids keep them busy and was always lovely to have some art they created together and the photos from play group. Always happy to help, and always able to support us and our needs, even holding a space for our second. We miss you Tracey!

I am so grateful for the care and support that Tracey provides for my daughter.
From the very first day, Tracey created a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where my daughter feels comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. The communication is clear and consistent, with daily updates, photos, and insight into what my daughter has been doing.
Overall, I can’t thank Tracey enough. She is professional, reliable, genuinely caring and truly exceptional at what she does. My daughter absolutely adores her time there, and it puts my mind at ease knowing she is in Tracey’s care.
I would recommend Tracey to any parent looking for high-quality childcare.

Tracey is simply the best ! My little boy started with her at 11 months old and stayed till 4 , he came on leaps and bounds with her and absolutely loves Tracey to pieces !!
He still sometimes goes to her in the school holidays and still constantly talks about her now .
Cannot recommendation enough literally goes above and beyond .

My daughter has been going to Tracey since she was 12 months old. She still goes in the holidays now even though she's started school and she absolutely loves going. Tracey is dependable, flexible and focuses on the children to meet their wants and needs. She takes the children on days out, has loads of activities for all different ages and offers a range of food for lunch and snacks. She keeps in contact with parents all the time, with pics and vids of progress of the day. Cannot recommend her enough ☺️

Our little girl started going to Tracey's just after her 1st birthday (5 years ago) and stayed with her full time, until she stated school (we didn't send her to the school nursery, as Tracey is that amazing!), and we're lucky she still has space for her in the school holidays (we're putting off moving for as long as we can, as we don't want to lose her!).
From the 1st time we took our daughter to visit Tracey, we knew we had found a wonderful childminder, as she went straight into her relaxed pose, which made us feel better. Her settling in sessions were great, although probably not needed as she didn't want to leave!
Tracey is always sending us updates with pictures and always making sure the children have a variety of activities each day, as well as taking them to playgroups, playgrounds and other child friendly places. For the older ones, she also helps them to learn to write their names and numbers.
Her home is set up fantastically, and has many treasures and fun activities available for the children. She always goes above and beyond. We cannot recommend her highly enough! We struck gold when we found Tracey!

Tracey is just AMAZING!
We are super pleased at how our son has settled in and it makes us really happy at how comfortable he is when we drop him off- Tracey has really created a home from home for the children which is amazing and so reassuring for us as his parents.
We can see Hugo has come on leaps and bounds over the last 6 months and he's hitting and surpassing all of his learning targets thanks to your help.

My daughter Zuza has been with Tracey since September, and I can say with full confidence that Tracey is simply amazing. We honestly couldn’t imagine anyone better. From the very first day, she has been warm, caring, and full of positive energy. Zuza always goes to her with a big smile, and when she comes back home, she is calm and happy.
Tracey regularly takes Zuza to different playgroups and organises lots of fun activities for her. Her home is beautifully set up for children’s needs, full of toys and creative spaces, and Zuza truly feels at home there.
Tracey also sends us photos and updates about how Zuza’s day has been, so we always know what she’s been doing and how she’s feeling. It’s clear that Tracey puts her whole heart into what she does and truly loves children.
We treat Tracey as part of our family. It’s hard to imagine a better person to look after our daughter.
We feel 100% confident and grateful knowing that Zuza is in such wonderful hands.
