My Summary
About Me
I’m looking for a 35–50 hour per week position starting from April 2026, though I’m happy to wait or start earlier for the right family.
Hello! My name is Belén, I am 33 years old and I’m a caring, experienced and reliable nanny with over eight years of professional experience specialising in newborns and babies up to three years old. I’m confident in all aspects of baby care from feeding, sleep routines and nappy changes to helping first time parents feel supported and confident as they settle into life with their new baby. I love creating calm, happy routines and watching little ones grow and reach their milestones.
I’m First Aid trained, DBS-checked, fully vaccinated and hold Settled Status in the UK. I speak English and Spanish. I’m also a very good cook and enjoy preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks for the children and for the family when needed. I’m a naturally organised and tidy person and I always make sure the children’s spaces are clean, safe and well prepared. I find that a tidy environment helps everyone feel more relaxed and comfortable.
My approach is warm, patient and loving but also structured and consistent. I value open communication and teamwork with parents and I always do my best to build a trusting relationship where we work together to ensure the child’s happiness, safety and development.
I’ve been working as a nanny since I was 17 and full-time for the past eight years in the UK. Most of my experience has been with babies and toddlers often starting when they are just a few months old. All of my previous positions have been long term roles that ended naturally when the children started nursery or school and I’m still in touch with many of those families today.
I have extensive experience in sole charge positions, taking care of everything related to the children feeding, bottle preparation, naps, weaning, nappy changes, laundry, appointments, playdates and planning stimulating activities. I love organising outings to places like the park, library, playgroups, music classes and I always make sure to include plenty of outdoor play and exploration.
In my current role I work in a household where both parents work from home so the position is a mix of sole charge and mother’s help. I’m very comfortable in this kind of setup and always adapt to the family’s routine, finding a balance that works for everyone. I’m flexible, proactive, and do my best to make each day run smoothly.
I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely love what I do. I’m affectionate and playful with children while also helping them develop healthy routines and gentle boundaries. I pay close attention to their developmental milestones and always communicate openly with parents about progress or any concerns.
If parents like to receive updates I’m happy to share photos, videos or messages but I believe a nanny should focus primarily on engaging with the child and being fully present in the moment. I value respect, honesty and clear communication and always aim to create a warm, positive and well organised environment for the whole family.
I am not Ofsted registered but I am happy to register if the family is willing to cover the registration costs. I already have all the necessary requirements for registration, including a clean DBS, First Aid training, and relevant Early Years qualifications.
I currently studying an online master in Early Years Studies. I hold a Master’s in Health and Occupational Safety and a Degree in Environmental Sciences. I’m also Paediatric First Aid trained, DBS-checked, and have completed Early Years Development training.
