Belenar
Nanny in London: Lambeth
My Summary
Professional Nanny Looking For A Full Time Position.
About Me
I’m looking for a 35–50 hour per week position starting from April 2026, though I’m happy to wait or start earlier for the right family.
Hello! My name is Belén, I am 33 years old caring, experienced and reliable nanny with over nine years of experience specialising in newborns and babies up to 10 years old. I’m confident in all aspects of baby care from feeding, sleep routines and nappy changes to helping first time parents feel supported and confident as they settle into life with their new baby. I love creating calm, happy routines and watching little ones grow and reach their milestones. Once they start getting older I love to plan play dates outside so they can run and burn energy, go to museums, playgrounds and to older kids activities in libraries like Lego building or colouring sessions. I also like to plan home activities involving crafts, reading and baking so we can all get a bit messy and have fun.
I’m First Aid trained, DBS-checked, fully vaccinated and hold Settled Status in the UK. I speak English and Spanish. I’m also a very good cook and enjoy preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks for the children. I’m a naturally organised and tidy person and I always make sure the children’s spaces are clean, safe and well prepared. I find that a tidy environment helps everyone feel more relaxed and comfortable.
My approach is warm, patient and loving but also structured and consistent. I value open communication and teamwork with parents and I always do my best to build a trusting relationship where we work together to ensure the child’s happiness, safety and development.
I’ve been working as a nanny since I was 17 and full-time for the past nine years in the UK. Most of my experience has been with babies and toddlers often starting when they are just a few months old. All of my previous positions have been long term roles that ended naturally when the children started nursery or school and I’m still in touch with many of those families today.
I have extensive experience in sole charge positions, taking care of everything related to the children feeding, bottle preparation, naps, weaning, nappy changes, laundry, appointments, playdates and planning stimulating activities.
In my current role I work in a household where both parents work from home so the position is a mix of sole charge and mother’s help. I’m very comfortable in this kind of setup and always adapt to the family’s routine, finding a balance that works for everyone. I’m flexible, proactive, and do my best to make each day run smoothly.
I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely love what I do. I’m affectionate and playful with children while also helping them develop healthy routines and gentle boundaries. I pay close attention to their developmental milestones and always communicate openly with parents about progress or any concerns.
If parents like to receive updates I’m happy to share photos, videos or messages but I believe a nanny should focus primarily on engaging with the child and being fully present in the moment. I value respect, honesty and clear communication and always aim to create a warm, positive and well organised environment for the whole family.
I currently obtaining my qualifications as a Maternity Nanny Level 3 (OCN 3). I have a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Introduction to Neuroscience in Early Years. I’m also Paediatric First Aid trained, DBS-checked, and have completed Early Years Development training by the Gov Department of Education.
Non related to childcare I also hold a Master’s in Health and Occupational Safety and a Degree in Environmental Sciences.

Belén started working with our family when my little one was only 3 months old and he liked her from the first moment. She has been part of our family since and took charge of all the main care duties such as of bottle feeding, weaning, sleep routines and activities. She is a fully reliable person and I always felt very comfortable leaving my little one with her, she is a lovely presence to have around and I would strongly recommend her!

Belén cared for my daughter since she was 10 months until 2.5 years old, and she became a key part of our family. My daughter adored her and still does, she is now 4 and we remain in touch.
Belén is caring, reliable, and proactive. She is warm and affectionate, yet confident in setting boundaries, which helped my daughter feel both safe and well guided. She brought energy, patience, and genuine kindness to her role, and I always felt complete trust in her. I recommend Belén wholeheartedly.
