About Me
Hello my name is Vicki, i am an OFSTED registered childminder.
I have been married to my husband Matt since July 2010 - we have three children our son aged 20 and our two daughters aged 16, and 12, I absolutely adore our children. I love to watch and help our children grow,learn and develop so much I wanted to pursue minding other children.
All children are precious and unique and deserve the best care possible. I will provide activities for all children according to the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS). I always communicate with parents on a regular basis to give them an understanding of their childs progress. I take regular walks to the local parks and also have rides out to other parks also the forest which is a fantastic place for children to have lots of imaginative and creative play. I love to read lots of books with the children and provide a wide range of books according to there age,we have creative play and of course messy play including painting,sticking and lots of colouring, I bake with the children as this is something I do regularly with my own children. I have a brilliant back garden with a trampoline, playhouse, slide and football net. I am based in huthwaite but cover sutton and huthwaite area. I have lots of experience and do have references from previous parents!!
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 15 years now and I love my job so I have 15 years of experience. All my children love to interact with others, they love learning and I have a learning calendar/clock on display which we look at daily, I also display numbers and the alphabet for us all to read daily and my children have really benefited from this.
We go out regularly to playgroups & soft play & enjoy outside play on my garden with lots of space to learn & have fun!!!
I cover all seven areas of learning.
I provide a warm friendly, caring atmosphere where all children feel valued and special. I
am a very happy, caring person who has your children's best interests at heart!
My Qualifications
Level 2 paediatric first aid and level 3 diploma in homebased childcare.
introduction to safeguarding children.
DSL safeguarding training
"talking matters" the speech,language and communication induction course.
Food hygiene
social child workshop course
Up to date regular webinar's.
My Availability
I also run the after school club from woodland view 3-5.30
school holidays available

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
