About Me
At Precious Little People your child will have the best of both worlds, they will be spending their days in a loving family home but will benefit from the same sort of learning experiences they would at a pre-school. Our childminding area is specifically set up for many different types of play; sensory, dressing up, open ended play, dancing, yoga, gymnastics, singing, physical play, reading, puzzles, role play etc. Your child will have a family dining room table to sit around with their friends and enjoy meal times, baking, and arts & crafts. Our childminding area overlooks the garden. In the summer months we have the patio doors open and you can feel the sun on your face, hear the birds singing and breathe the fresh air. They will also have regular trips out, we have lots of parent and toddler groups we like to go, childminding groups, trips to lots of parks, beaches, libraries, soft play, woods, children’s farms, country parks, railways, splash parks, Forest school, Little Bakes, Kingston Lacey, Corfe Castle, Museums, pet shops, the list is endless :)
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since February 2017.
Before that I ran a toddler group for a year.
I also have two little girls aged 14 and 9.
My Qualifications
A few of my qualifications are:-
Cache level 3 award in preparing to work in home-based childcare.
Level 3 Safeguarding
Paediatric First Aid
First Class Honours Degree in Science (Dental Technology)

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.60 per hour
I pay for all trips, clubs, days out. All my Precious Little People bring their own lunch, tea and nappies.

Carla is simply the best. Both of our children have been lucky enough to be looked after by her. The children have the most amazing time, full of fun, love, learning and play! We could not ask for anything more, Carla works so hard to make sure the children have the best time when they are with her. Our children are always so excited and happy to go, they feel safe and secure and know they are in for a great time on their Carla days. We could not recommend Carla more highly.

Carla really cares about the children she is looking after. She has created a lovely home from home environment where she sets up different activities as well as lots of opportunities outside in her garden too.
The children often go for mornings out together and I love to see the photos of what they’ve been up to. Our daughter clearly has lots of fun!
Carla is also incredibly organised and has maintained a high level of communication with us. I am so happy that our son will be with Carla, once our daughter moves into preschool in the Autumn term.

My daughter has been going to Carla's for a year and she loves it so much. Carla is so wonderful with children, they literally have the best time with her.
Every day is action packed with outings, groups, learning through play and all round fun. I honestly have never met a more suited person to nurture young people.
The setting is beautiful and not only is Carla wonderful, her family are lovely too.
Any child would be lucky to have Carla as a child minder, we will be very sad to leave when my daughter starts school next year.
5* all the way! I'd leave a million stars if it would let me :)

My daughter has been with Carla for over a year now and we are extremely happy with the level of care she has received. As we had previously used a nursery for our son we were not really sure what to expect but now I can confidently say had I known about Carla before then I definitely would have put him with Carla instead. Carla always has something fun planned for the children and my daughter has a different adventure everyday. She gets to go outdoors to nat trust sites, parks, beaches etc every day, and Carla also takes them to different toddler groups. Carla has gotten to know my daughter well and always keeps the children her top priority such as consistently maintaining a professional relationship. Her family are also lovely and help to nurture the children in a loving family home. My daughter is always so excited to come to Carla's house and is quick to be ready by the door waiting to leave. Carla always sends us lots of photos and those memories are very precious to us.

Carla was amazing at being able to help me out with childcare at the last minute and she was very professional throughout with all documents in place. I would highly recommend Carla and her setting is absolutely beautiful.......you will not be disappointed and will know your child is in safe hands and will have an amazing time.
