About Me
I’m a self-employed ad hoc nanny offering flexible childcare, also accepting Tax-Free childcare, to suit a
variety of needs including; maternity support, daytime nannying, evening babysitting, weekends, and
bespoke event or wedding nannying. I work within your home or at your event location.
Each family I work with receives a contract for clarity and peace of mind. Bookings are made in advance,
with a 50% deposit required to secure your chosen date. As I work on an ad hoc basis, my availability is
designed to be flexible, for both you and me. I’m happy to take on regular weekly bookings, and I always
give a minimum of four weeks' notice for any future dates I won’t be available.
While I may not suit everyone’s needs, particularly those looking for year-round hours like a nursery can
offer, I’m the perfect fit for families who need a more adaptable approach. If you work shifts, need
occasional support, one off/temporary support or simply prefer a flexible setup, I’m here to help.
One of the added benefits of using my services is that you only pay for childcare when you actually need it, helping you avoid the cost of paying for unused nursery hours. My rates vary depending on the booking,

My Experience
I’m an Ofsted-registered nanny with 10 years experience - four of those spent working in nursery settings
(including as a supervisor of a 0-2s room), and the other six years as a nanny. I’ve supported families with
children as young as 1 day old, and since becoming a mother myself to my now 3 year-old daughter, my
passion for early childhood care has only deepened. My core experience -and preference- is working with
children aged 0–5, with a special focus on ages 0-2. I’ve worked with a wide variety of families, including
those with single children, twins, and multiples.
Having a nursery background and formal qualifications, I’m experienced in supporting and monitoring
early learning and development, following the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. I love
creating engaging, home-based activities that encourage independence, build life skills, and support
development - all while making sure each day is filled with fun and laughter.
Every day, I arrive with my trusty "nanny bag" always packed with something exciting, usually a messy tray
activity (don’t worry, I’m a pro at tidying up afterwards - you’ll hardly know we were there!).
I'm a big advocate for hands on learning and exploring the world around us. I believe in the magic of
outdoor adventures whether it's puddle jumping, leaf collecting, building towers from sticks and stones, or simply digging in the dirt. I also love visiting local parks, groups, and libraries.
While I don’t drive, that’s never held us back from an adventure. With a double pram, a buggy board, baby
slings, and two feet that do a lot of walking, we’re always ready to explore. In fact, hopping on the bus for a
local day out is a highlight all on its own

- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Day time nanny rate is higher vs evening babysit rate
