About Me
Hi, my name is Amelia and I am 33 years old. I currently live in South Croydon with my husband and 3 year old son. I’m looking to start working as a part time nanny again since becoming a mother in June 2020, ideally I would like my son to join me when he isn’t at pre school, so a family who are willing to accept this would be great, hopefully our children can become the best of friends! My son attends a pre school in selsdon for 2.5 days per week. I am an enthusiastic and positive, Early Years professional with a lot of experience, patience and understanding of young children's varying needs. I have a passion for providing quality child care and experiences for children so they can develop, grow learn and and flourish - whilst enjoying every moment of this precious time.
My Experience
I have worked in the field of early years/young children for the past 10 years. My experience include working in pre - schools, nanny for a young child with physical disability, nanny/mothers help for baby triplets and twins, 1:1 support worker in pre - schools, higher level teaching assistant in SEN early years class.
My experience is mainly with children aged 0 - 5 but i have worked with older children.
I have a lot of experience and knowledge in supporting children with SEN and complex needs and experience working with multiple babies.
I currently hold a Foundation Degree in Early Years and intend to continue my studies to gain BA Hons in Early Years through the Open University.
In my last position (pre pandemic and before my son was born) I worked as a full time nanny for two families, caring for a 5 year old, 2.5 year old, 2 year old and a then 5 month.
