My Experience
Over the past several years, I’ve built a wide-ranging background in childcare through both professional and hands-on experience. I’ve worked as a nanny and babysitter for three different families over a span of three years, caring for children from newborn up to 9 years old — including multiple siblings at once. I’m proud to have glowing references from all the families I’ve worked with, and I bring a calm, confident approach to managing busy household routines.
Alongside nannying, I’ve worked as a children’s dance teacher twice a week and spent nearly two years as a children’s party entertainer, giving me lots of experience in creating fun, engaging activities tailored to different age groups. I’ve also chaperoned children at dance shows and regularly care for younger friends and family, which has helped me develop strong, intuitive caregiving skills.
For the past three years, I’ve worked within a specialist NHS perinatal mental health team, supporting mothers and babies from pregnancy through early childhood. This has given me expert-level knowledge in child development, weaning, sleep routines, teething, and working with children with additional needs — as well as a deep understanding of how to support both children and parents through key stages of growth and transition.
I am fully DBS checked, local to the area, and drive, so I’m easily accessible and flexible when needed. I’m confident in caring for children of all ages and needs, and always aim to offer a nurturing, developmentally-informed approach.
My Qualifications
Full valid DBS check and child psychology degree. I also hold a full driving licence and own my own car.
My Availability
Part time. Tuesday day time, all day Wednesday and Thursday. Evenings Friday and all weekend
