My Summary

My Experience

I am confident when caring for children and have lots of experience in babysitting children from the age of 18 months to 14 years old. I am very confident in caring for children around this age range and understand the needs of young children. I spent time teaching children from the age of 2 to 18 years old in Cambodia, which taught me valuable skills when it comes to interacting with children of all ages. On the trip I developed my communication skills and learned how to make learning more accessible and fun for children. I volunteered at a family support group - my role involved helping to run activities for the children whilst their parents took part in workshops. I have also volunteered at a local secondary school, helping out at their summer school and working with children aged 11-12. I have a full driving license and am confident in caring for children out of the home as well as at home. As well as this I am able to cook meals suitable for children and maintain a clean and tidy environment. I love spending time with children and I am passionate about creating a fun and safe atmosphere for them.

My Qualifications

I have 10 GCSEs and 32 points in the IB Diploma. I am currently in my second year of studying International Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes.

My Availability

I am available during most weekdays, depending on my lectures, and the weekends. Working during the day would be easier as most of my lectures fall either in the morning or late afternoon into the evening.
