Space available immediately for babies/toddler/pre school children.
And also spaces for school aged children with drop offs and pick ups to The Mead Nursery and Infant School and Auriol school.
Please do get in touch if you are looking for childcare in the near future, although I have a space straight away if you are looking for the next couple of months I can still meet and answer any questions and then arrange to meet up in a safe way.
I am based in Worcester Park in one of the streets close to The Mead school.
I offer the 15/30 hours funded childcare for 2,3 and 4yr olds and accept childcare vouchers.
During the day for the younger children we have regular trips out to toddler groups, Softplay and National Trust/RHS places, library rhyme time sessions. We also visit local parks and garden centres.
I have a good relationship with other childminders in the area who we regularly meet up with, so the children get to mix with others and interact and socialise and it’s lovely to see friendships grow.
I do try and get out somewhere most days with the children, especially in the fine weather, but if we are at home I have a safe garden the children can play in or we do activities and games indoors.
One of my favourite things I like to do with the children is baking and cooking, we do cakes, cookies, pancakes, bread, and the children love to take their creations home to their parents.
I am now approaching my 3rd year of being a childminder and my aim is to provide a safe, fun and engaging environment for your child to thrive, whilst you feel happy returning to work knowing your child is being well looked after.
Before becoming a childminder I worked as a Paramedic with the London Ambulance Service for 17 years. I feel very comfortable dealing with all medical emergencies and taking care of children with medical conditions requiring prescribed medication.
I am a mum to two girls aged 9 yrs and 4 years which initiated my change of career and this has given me invaluable experience into looking after children and understanding their different personalities.
I have completed the necessary Childcare Courses required by Ofsted and am attending Surrey County Council Courses and completing online learning modules so I can gain as much knowledge as possible.
I am committed to supporting children in their early years following the standards set by the EYFS to get them ready for school.
