We couldn’t be happier with Stacey and her setting. She provides such a warm, safe, and caring environment, and our little one absolutely loved going each day. Stacey cooks healthy, home-made meals, takes the children on lovely outings, and always makes sure they’re learning and having fun.
The setting feels safe and stable, and with Stacey’s updates and handovers we knew our child was being well looked after.
Stacey is always professional, kind, and approachable. Our child has thrived in her care, and we feel very lucky to have found her. I would highly recommend Stacey to any family looking for a caring and reliable childminder.

We were lucky enough to find Stacey after having our first child. I was anxious about the prospect of ‘daycare’ for my child at 12months old but Stacey’s proposition was far superior to anything I had previously considered. Her home setting is warm, inviting and gentle where the babies get lots of attention. Stacey takes a lot of care settling them in, and ensures they are coping well, communicating with us throughout. Very soon it was clear to us that our daughter loved her days at Stacey’s. Nearly every day, the kids are out and about at soft plays, libraries, parks, playgrounds or farms. When they’re ‘home’ they have a large playroom to explore, and beautiful back garden with plenty of equipment for them to play on. We love seeing photos of all the fun our daughter is having throughout the day. She is obsessed with the big beautiful cat, Duke, and dog Jessie who loves nothing more than a good book in the book corner! Stacey takes a lot of care to give the children opportunities to learn through play, and our daughter consistently demonstrated new skills she learned there. Stacey not only makes delicious home made food for them, but gets them involved in the cooking which is lots of fun.
We’ve gotten to know Stacey and her family well over the last two years because they always have time for us, always happy to chat which is something we really appreciate. Stacey is always looking out for the wellbeing of the children, and is always quick to communicate if our daughter is feeling unwell or just isn’t herself. This is important to us as we never wanted our daughter to have to ‘struggle through’ a day when she would rather be home. We also appreciate Stacey’s robust policies around sickness/illnesses, showing a real effort to control the spread of viruses and other nasties between the children. These policies protect all of the children and have ensured her setting remained open throughout some tough winters.
Stacey is a reliable, professional yet warm and energetic childminder who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. My first daughter has moved on to preschool, but now my second daughter has started with Stacey and my ‘clingy koala baby’ has settled in like a dream.

I was really looking forward to my daughter starting with Stacey. She has a well-kept setting, makes lovely food, and takes the children on nice outings.
We did find some of her policies challenging though. Mainly that if a child is sent home with a temperature of 37.5, they cannot attend the following day. Due to this, my daughter was unable to attend 13 days over six months, but there was only one occasion that she seemed under the weather. Every other time we picked her up and she would be eating and playing as normal without any fever or signs of being unwell or distressed. After speaking with other parents, it became clear that children are frequently sent home, so it wasn’t just our experience. I have an older child and this policy isn't standard across all childcare settings. Combined with her term-time schedule and ad hoc closures, it became difficult to manage.
We decided to move to a different childminder who was a better fit for our family. Stacey offers a caring environment, but her approach and policies may not suit everyone.
