About Me
A Home-from-Home Where Little Ones Can Flourish
Hello, I’m Reema — an experienced childcare professional and Ofsted-registered childminder with over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns through to teenagers.
I offer a small, nurturing and highly personalised home-from-home setting, where every child is known as an individual and given the time, attention and encouragement they need to feel secure, confident and happy.
As a mum myself, I understand that choosing childcare is about so much more than finding someone to look after your child. You are choosing the person who will comfort them when they need reassurance, celebrate their milestones, encourage their independence and become an important part of their early years.
That is a responsibility I take incredibly seriously.
- A childhood filled with experiences
My approach combines the EYFS with Montessori-inspired learning, while keeping childhood playful, natural and full of exploration.
We spend lots of time outdoors and our days can take us to playgroups, parks, nature trails, the allotment, soft play, farms, the zoo and other exciting places.
At home, children can enjoy music, piano, singing, stories, baking, gardening, creative activities, sensory play and plenty of opportunities for independent exploration.
Rather than every day looking the same, I plan experiences around the children in my care — their ages, interests, development and individual personalities.
- Learning through play, music & curiosity
Music is a lovely part of our home. I play the piano and enjoy giving children opportunities to explore instruments, rhythm and singing from an early age.
I strongly believe children learn best when they are engaged and enjoying themselves. Whether we are counting vegetables at the allotment, discovering insects in the garden, baking together or singing around the piano, learning naturally becomes part of everyday life.
- Homemade, nutritious food
Nutrition is another area particularly important to me.
I hold a qualification in nutrition and provide healthy, balanced, homemade meals and snacks, encouraging children to experience a varied diet and develop a positive relationship with food.
My husband is a former chef and, although he does not work within my childcare business, he also helps behind the scenes with meal preparation and ideas.
Good food, shared around the table, is simply part of everyday life here.
- Individual care — not one-size-fits-all childcare
Every child is different.
Some children bounce through the door; others need a little more reassurance. Some love messy play and adventure, while others prefer books, music or quieter activities.
I take the time to understand each child and work closely with their family so that their care reflects who they are, rather than expecting every child to fit the same routine.
Throughout my career I have also supported children with a variety of additional needs, adapting my approach with patience, understanding and sensitivity.
- More than childcare
Ultimately, I want my setting to feel like a second home.
A place where children are excited to arrive, where parents feel comfortable leaving them, and where little ones can play, explore, learn, eat well, make memories and — most importantly — feel completely safe and cared for.
Choosing childcare is an incredibly personal decision, so families are warmly invited to visit our home, meet me and see the environment for themselves.
If you are looking for experienced, personal and nurturing childcare with the warmth of a family home, I would love to hear from you.

Reema has been great for us and our son. Her introduction days helped him adjust quickly, and he is happy on a morning when we drop off and at night when we collect him. Her communication is excellent, and she is always friendly and supportive with us. We feel very lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her to any family.

thank you ❤️
We were looking for a childminder for our daughter for a while, when we found Reema! She has been really helpful in explaining the whole process of enrolling our daughter in her care. She’s really kind and answered all my questions and concerns. We loved her approach of teaching and her values. She has a lovely setting for children with lots of toys and activities to do in the house, and plenty outdoor activities too! I can’t wait to see my daughter grow under her care! We couldn’t make a better choice!!
I highly recommend her!! She’ll go the extra mile to help you and she’s always making sure you and your child are looked after!

Thank you 🥰
Reema has been our childminder to our 14 month old son for a couple of months now and we’re so glad we found her! She has such a lovely, professional setting with lots of toys and activities for the children to enjoy and always takes them out and about too. Reema is such a lovely person, it’s obvious to see she genuinely cares so much about the children and supporting their learning and development, as well as being a great support to us parents. She will send photos of our son and updates during the day so we always know he’s happy, eating delicious, nutritious food, learning new things and generally in great hands. When we had a week off due to illness she was checking in to make sure we were ok, for my birthday and Christmas she made special cards and paintings for us with the children which will be treasured as well as lovely gifts, and she has been a great help with applying for the Government childcare funding. She really goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy and well looked after. Any child (and parent!) who has the opportunity to be in Reema’s care is very lucky.

Reema is just wonderful! Our son settled so quickly and loves going to her. She is some sort of Mary Poppins who has endless patience and kindness with a vegetable eating magic wand.
100% recommend!

Thank you
Reema helped us out with emergency childcare as she had some space. We really appreciated her warm and professional setup process. She accommodated a quick play date in her setting to allow us to settle our little girl there quickly.
Our little girl has loved it! She has nutritious home-cooked food every day. They do a variety of activities inside and outside the home. She has lots of fun with Reema's son and comes back talking about their day. I would highly recommend.

If anyone is looking for a childminder I would highly recommend Reema. She offers a wonderful home from home environment, lots of song and play and nutritious home cooked food. My little one year old has settled so well with her and is very happy. She’s starting out as a new business so do get in touch if you’re looking for a childminder.
