My Experience

I have been a full time nanny up until my maternity leave (approximately 8 years). One of the most recent families I have been a part of since 2017, seeing the children through final primary schools years and entire secondary school years. It’s important for me to build a relationship with the entire family!
Before I was a nanny, I worked at Hoar Cross Day Nursery and a pre-school in Abbots Bromley.

As a nanny, I have travelled to North and Central America, Europe, South Africa and Asia. I have previously travelled to countries for long periods of time which has made me become very independent and outgoing.
Because of this, I am able to adapt to new situations and routines which makes the children feel comfortable and settled with me.

My Strengths would be that I have good communication skills since I like being around and meeting new people. I’m easy to get on with and friendly as I’ve kept in touch with previous families and colleagues, all of the children I have looked after have been long-term and I feel a part of each family individually.

I have experience caring for newborn babies up to 18 year old teenagers. I’m looking forward to meeting new families!

- Level 2 & 3 NCFE CACHE Diploma for Early Years Workforce

- Level 2 NCFE CACHE in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People’s Settings

- Level 2 NCFE CACHE Understanding Food & Nutritional Health

- Level 1 Safeguarding Awareness

- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid

- Level 3 Managing Paediatric Illness, Injuries and Emergencies

- Level 2 Health & Social Care (Distinction)

- Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Agreement Trialing PVI Cluster

- Level 2 Food Safety (modules complete on certificate)

- DBS updated in November 2023
