About Me
I am a mother of two grown up sons. I have lived in the Islington area all my life. I have worked with various ages of children throughout my career both for the local authority and privately. I am a non smoker, I hold a full driving licence and I have an inhanced DBS check. I am friendly and have a caring nature. I am looking for evening (after4pm) nanny work and school holiday work.
My Experience
I have 32yrs experience of working with children of all ages. I have worked in playgroups, nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, inclusion centres, breakfast clubs, after school clubs,holiday schemes and as a nanny.
I have bn working at my present employer for the past 17yrs as an early years practitioner. During my time at this school I have worked with children in yr1, reception, nursery and am currently working in the nursery setting. I have experience of working on a 1:1 basis with autistic children. I also look after a diabetic child in administering her medication during the day. This is due to her having bn I my care since the age of 4 and I have built up a bond with the family.
I have during the past year taken various qualifications and have gained a higher distinction in Autisim awareness, SEND level 3, Diabetese awareness advanced level, EYFS teaching level 3 and EYFS teaching level 4 advanced level 5. I have just finished training as an ELSA , where I am currently working with small groups of children weekly.
I am currently working in the EYFS section of the school where I am gaining experience of toilet training, eating independently, becoming independent in choices and SALT therapy. I run small group sessions daily for children with SEND which is in our sensory room. Currently I am in the process of setting up a drop in coffee morning for parents with SEND children to come together and share their experiences and gain support from like parents.
My Qualifications
I have a Btec as a early years practioner.
Level 3&4&5 EYFS teaching.
Advanced diabetes training.
Advanced autism training.
Advanced SEND training .
Also secondary school qualifications
ELSA training.
My Availability
I am available to work mon - thur after 4pm during term time. During school holidays I am available throughout the day from 8am.
Availability for babysitting over the weekend.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
My hourly fees depend on my duties, but I would be looking at a minimum of £12ph
