Incredible childminder, highly recommend

When we first visited Sophie’s setting, we were so impressed with everything to do with her set up, from the food menus to the daily structure, to the child safeguarding procedures and so much more. It was a no brainier to send our daughter to her at 20 months old.

What we hadn’t expected was the wider amazing family environment she would become part of, the learning and development she would do and the pure happiness she would get every day from attending Sophie’s house.

Sophie includes a themes to her weeks teaching the children in her care about various different holidays and events of the world. Our daughter was always coming home having learned a new craft skill or a different song each week.

The various adventures and experiences Sophie would take our daughter to, be it fruit picking, forest exploring, playgrounds, farms, soft plays - you name it, our daughter loved and learned every day.

Having a daughter with severe allergies is also a concern of ours abs where we sent her to, but we soon realised it need not be as Sophie would adapt her menu (always freshly cooked meals) to suit, and even adapt some activities like baking where required that we never had to think twice.

Each day we received a detailed dairy update plus numerous photos and always knew what was going on. From talking with others childcare experiences, we know we got very lucky finding Sophie and her wonderful family.
