My name is Marina,
I'm looking for a family/s to start working in September or October of 2024 (preferably around this area, I'm already familiar with all the playgroups...)
Currently working for a family in E8, (the intention of the family, will be for the little one to start nursery in Sep.)
Here is a little bit about myself.
I’m from Barcelona, I have been in London for 11 years. I'm a friendly, creative person, organized, dependable, professional, warm, thoughtful and confident. I'm good with kids. I studied fashion design and Art. I speak English, Catalan and Spanish.
In 2023 I was been working for a family with two girls G1 and G4 in N16.
the little one is just turning 2 y and she will go full time to nursery start in this September.
I work for a few weeks, for a Italian family in E8 with a little B3 and in October i start with my current family.
in 2022 I was working for a family with a little baby boy of 8 months. It was my first time with a baby and I have to say, I had so much fun seeing how he was learning and changing so quickly through the year, and experience, the day he was saying my name I got super excited (obviously!) The family lives pretty close to me but I'm so sad leaving this little "bonbon".
In 2021 I was looking after two little ones, a girl of 8 years old and a boy of 4 years old, from January of 2021 it was full time job for the first 3 months till the kids went back to school, I was doing pickups (Mon.-Fri.) after school 3 pm-6 pm and most of the holidays. I had to finish with this family in December'21 (it was a heartbreaker because I got attached to the kids...obviously especially with the girl).
In all that year, I had learned a lot about kids and myself too.
I lost my job a few weeks before the Lockdown, I was working as a waitress in a cafe in Hackney, previews of that I was working as a Visual Merchandiser in kids-wear for 3 years and 6 years in total for that company.
My personal interests include music, festivals and gigs, discovering the world, fashion, vintage clothes and furniture, taking photos, drawing, painting, swimming, tennis, yoga....
I have First Aids.

Nanny of a little baby of 8 months, Hackney, London
March 2022- December 2022
• Fisrt experience with a baby full time (previous of this job i did just some babysitting for a friends). This family was half Austriac half Spanish so I was talking to the little boy in Spanish.
• What and experience!!! it was so much fun seen him discovering the world through a kids eye for the first time (sounds, the first words, making new friends, eating new food, watching the animals at the park…) and making sure he did his daily naps. in summer it was really fun going to the little fountains in viki park.
• this little boy like a lot to be outside specially at the park (we spent most of our days together outside) when he started walking, we were going to the playground and playdays with other kids. (that made him to be around other kids for a long period of time, not just briefly at the park and that was really good for him). Going to this places make my network of nanny bigger and is really nice meet other nannies or parents…
• i was not cooking his lunch because the parents like to work from home so they try that one or both they were in the house and give him lunch. But some days both parents wher at the office so i had to prep lunch and the snacks. (always everything super healthy and depending of his stage of eating).
• I stop working with this family because the baby it was starting Nursery in January full time, so they stop needing my help.

January2021 - December 2021
• Prep healty meals (brekfast, lunch and snacks)
• During the 3 months of lockdown I had to make sure the kids they did some of the School work and we watch educational videos (Prehistory, Egypt, Romans…about Animals life…). G8 practicing spanish with me and the little Boy 4 learning a lot of spanish vocabulary.
• Fun activities outside at the park or inside the house (painting, bore games, Uno, arts and crafts…), tiding after.
• when the kids went back to shool i was doing just the pick up aftershool and holidays.
• I stop working for the family because they stop needing my help.
Beginning of 2018 during 3 months and a half, after my work as a VM in H&M, I was looking after a little boy 3, pick up from nursery, playing with him at the house, giving him snacks and dinner too. I stop with this family because the job situation and the family change and they had to move to another country.
I did some sporadically babysitting for some of my neighbours:
Two lovely girls age 8 and 10
a newborn 4-month-old, other times two little ones a boy 9 years old and a girl 6 years old
this is the UK but in my home town close to Barcelona (I was younger too),
I had different experiences babysitting a little boy for a couple of afternoons during 2 months, some nights babysitting in my neighbours...
