About Me
We are two busy full time working parents with two children seeking a nanny on either a full or part time basis to help with childcare, child related mother’s help and organising the kids and their activities and to provide flexibility and stability. We have a little girl aged almost 4 who will start school in September 2023 and a little boy aged 11 months. Our daughter is currently in private Kindergarten where we would like her to continue (for stability and school preparation) going at least 2 days a week until she starts school in Sep 2023. We are seeking a nanny to primarily care for our little boy (caring for him in his home environment but pursuing an active list of varied activities such as taking him to classes, soft play, zoo, swimming etc) and assist with nursery/then school drop off/pick ups for our daughter and caring for both during school holidays. We expect to need nanny help throughout school so the position has long term potential for the right candidate. We could manage with 3-4 days (including 1-2 longer days) initially should we need to until Sep 2023 as I have annual leave accrued during mat leave to use but will likely then need 4+ days from Sep 2023. Option for additional paid ad hoc OT hours at weekends/eves and trips away would be a bonus by mutual agreement.
My Requirements
Days/hours below are an example initially and can be flexed in discussion with the right candidate as I have not set a firm work plan day to day in place yet and I expect to combine travel into the office with WFH (with the majority of the week WFH). It’s likely Tuesday would be a long day (for example 07.30-1800/1830) but some of the other days could be shorter. Happy to discuss a schedule to suit within a set number of hours across set days per week. The right candidate is someone we would like to help feel an extended part of our family, use our family home as if their own but able to operate autonomously also as regards organising the children.
Driving licence is essential.
