My Summary

My Experience

As I have always wanted to work within childcare I have managed to develop new skills through different jobs, so that I eventually had all the skills and experience needed to work in a nursery or a primary school. I have had ongoing babysitting jobs for friends and family over the past few years (for children aged 3-7). I also volunteered at my local dance school (I also danced there), to help teach younger children (aged 3-8) to dance (ballet, tap and street dance). I also helped them develop confidence in musical theatre classes. I have experienced 7 months of nannying two young girls, aged 9 and 11 (they were 8 and 10 when I started), this would involve me collecting them from school at 3pm, taking them home, helping them with homework, playing games with them, cooking them dinner and getting them ready for bed before their parents would arrive home around 7ish. I would also occasionally take them out, for walks, or into town so we could go shopping and go for lunch.

My most recent nannying job was Monday- Thursday (3pm-7pm) and occasionally I would work later (3pm-11pm) if their parents had to go out after work. I would sometimes start earlier aswell (from about 10am).

I recently just had a job with a lovely family who had a 2 year old girl and a 5 year old girl, I worked for them from Tuesday-Thursday, and this involved me taking them to school/nursery, and picking them after, cooking them dinner, taking them to after-school activities and play dates and the park, and helping with homework. I also did light house work.

I also helped out with a family on Thursdays from 7am-4pm, which involved me looking after a 10 month old little boy, I would provide him with fun activities and we would go out to the local park often which he enjoyed a lot. I would also make him breakfast and lunch and occasionally dinner. I would have to put him down for naps throughout the day aswell. I also helped look after his 3 year old brother occasionally.

I then went onto looking after 2 lovely young children; a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, 3.5 days a week, and occasionally weekends if babysitting was needed, I would look after them during some holidays too. I would do the morning routine with them and drop off to school, the pick up after school and then their evening routine. I would also take them to any clubs they attended. We would also occasionally go to the park after school or in the holidays if the weather was nice.

Helped with a 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy, with school morning routine and drop offs/pick ups, bath time, school reading, providing them with dinner and occasionally putting them to bed if parents needed to work later. I also babysat on occasional weekends and late nights so their parents could go out. Took them for trips to the park, soft play etc.

I also helped with a 18 month old boy for a short period of time so his mum could get some jobs done. I would take him to the park and to a toddler group where I would stay and play with him.

Currently looking after a 7 year old girl and 10 year old boy on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Also doing pick up on Wednesday and Friday so only looking for mornings now.

I have been nannying since 2017.

My Qualifications

I have received 9 A*-C GCSE’s (including English and maths). I also have 3 passes in sociology, philosophy and media A Level at Chace Community School, Enfield.

My Availability

Urgently looking for school drop offs or a few hours in the mornings. Term time only. Babysitting available after 7pm on weekdays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)

£13 per hour for nannying £12 per hour babysitting. Depending on how many hours are offered, fees may increase
