About Me
My name is Hannah and I live with my husband and three daughters aged 5, 3 and 1. I am a friendly, energetic, caring and enthusiastic person who thoroughly enjoys working with children.
I have been Ofsted registered since April 2018. I pride myself on providing a fun, stimulating and caring environment to help children learn and develop through play. My aim is to provide the minded children in my care with the experience I would expect for my own children in a childcare setting; a relaxed home from home environment. I work closely with parents to ensure that the needs of their children will be fully met and that the settling in process is smooth and positive. I have a vast array of toys, games and activities for both in and outside of my setting. We go on various outings within our local area and if time allows further afield.
My setting is a good-sized family home with plenty of space for play, arts and crafts, cooking and other activities. We have a large garden with 2 levels providing lots of space to play on the slides and ride on toys but to also explore the sand pits and wildlife. I have an 8 seater car so we can explore the local and larger community. We go on regular outings such as parks, the beach, soft plays, Bicton, toddler groups and if time allows Haldon forest and Orange Elephant. Depending on the ages and stages of development of the children in my care there are opportunities to attend a local forest school (this will incur additional costs).
My Experience
I have 18 years of experience in working with children aged 0-18 in a variety of settings and roles. These include schools, Childrens Services, being a Mum and various play environments. My experience also includes caring for children with additional needs such as, Autism and learning difficulties.
My Qualifications
My qualifications and training include a Level 3 Award in Home Based Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Prevent Duty. I also have a BSc Psychology degree which, included child development.

Funded hours accepted for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
