Hi Im Cath and i am a ofsted registered Childminder. I live in the Thelwall area of Warrington and been a Childminder since 2004. Before that I worked in nurseries where I was room manager in both baby and toddler rooms.
I thoroughly enjoy my job working in childcare and as a childminder.
I offer a small setting taking on only a few families at a time and I pride myself in this as I know I can spend time with the children . We are a close knit setting and we work together as a team to enjoy our days together. Feeling of a home from home environment is so important to me ,I have lots of toys, games and craft activities, inside and out . We spend lots of time out doors and go on walks and adventures. We attend groups and go to parks meeting up with other childminders and their children on a regular basis.
I am a member of the national trust so we go to lots of different places to explore.
Our days are structured and we have good routines. Holidays we go for plenty of days out . I like the children to feel welcome and part of the family whilst in my care. I offer a home from home environment with a dedicated playroom which is bright and airy , craft is on offer during the day, plenty of books , toys and activities are available. Children grow, learn and develop and have lots of fun in my setting .I am honoured to have fantastic references from my parents past and present and engaged in lots of coarse to keep my knowledge updated and build my cpd ,
I have a happy and loving disposition and enjoy life. I am reliable, trustworthy and honest and pride myself on being someone you can feel safe to depend on.
I am fully insured with pacey to care for children in my own home.
15 and 30 hour funding towards childcare fees is available for 9mths, 2,3+4yr olds
My Experience
I have worked with children since the age of 17. I have experience in nurseries, Pre school and childminder experience since 2004. I also have experience in fostering. As a parent I can fully appreciate that the choice of Childcare is one of the most difficult decisions you will have to make. My aims as a childminder are to provide a safe warm welcoming stimulating environment and build a positive relationship with the children in my care making sure their individual needs are met so they can achieve their full potential .

NVQ Levels 2, 3 , childcare
Level 3 speech, language and communication for children and young people
Courses completed to extend my CPD.

Due to re-locating our little boy had to sadly leave after being with cath since he was 8 months old!!
Cath was very kind and caring, and her whole family were polite and welcoming. I always felt safe leaving my child in caths hands and was always kept informed of his development and his daily routine!
Cath had a large garden for the children to play and was always out doing something!

There are not enough lovely words in the dictionary to describe Cath and her wonderful family. From the very first moment I walked into her home, we felt welcomed. I've had the pleasure of Cath looking after both of my children from being 8 months old. She made the emotional part of leaving my baby with someone else so much easier. Both children settled straight away and they have never been upset going into her house.
Cath has a clear love for the children she cares for, it's clearly not just a job to her. Her home is a very secure place for all of the children with lots of different opportunities both inside and out. Cath takes them on very regular visits to children's centres, music groups, soft play etc.
My children have always, always enjoyed every moment with Cath and become good friends with her own gorgeous children. It was with a very heavy heart that we had to say our goodbyes to her, I would have absolutely no reservation about recommending her to everyone! Cath started out as our childminder but I now consider her (what I hope) a good friend and we hope to keep in touch regularly.
I cannot thank you enough Cath, for everything you did for my little 'angels' and everything you did for me. Thank you.
