My Experience

I have had 15 years experience in different childcare settings, Babysitting, Private nursery, Playgroup, Delivering a Songwriting Schools Programme in local primary schools, Volunteering with the local families at a coffee morning/baby and food banks, and working with local childminders (ages from 9mths-7years).
My responsibilities have involved setting up/leading activities, leading story time, co-ordinating and distributing food and baby parcels in the local community, teaching children to sing and write poems and songs, assisting childminders/teachers, changing nappies, supervising nap times, and organising parent and toddler group sessions.

I have helped many families with children (ages from newborns-16years).
Being a mum myself I understand the importance of parents leaving their children in someone else’s care. I have a big heart for children, and I will always try to find ways to have lots of fun as children learn through play, creating an environment for children to feel comfortable and to express their unique individual self's.

I also have experience using the EYFS framework and development matters, and 2 year progress check.

My Qualifications

I have a GNVQ Health and Social Care
CACHE Preparing to work in Homebased childcare
I also have a paediatric First Aid/Safeguarding training.

My Availability

I am available for term time only (not open in school holidays), Monday-Friday 8-6pm.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Childminding from £7.00 per hour
