About Me
Thank you for viewing my profile. I will be moving from Finchampstead to Sandhurst in June and I have a space available during the school holidays, I will also have a space available on Fridays from August 2024 and a full time all year round space available from September 2025. I would consider providing wraparound care for a local nursery or preschool.
I have two children of my own aged 17 and 19 (both DBS checked and we all pay a yearly subscription for the update service) Part of my weekly routine is to attend two local toddler groups, we visit the library and attend a yoga class that the children all love. I will continue to visit Finchampstead as well as exploring the activities available in Sandhurst. I plan both art & craft and sensory activities each week to suit individual interests and to fit in with seasons or festivals. I find this is a fun way to provide the children with a broad understanding of the world around them. I have a wide range of carefully thought out resources for both preschool and school age children that are rotated on a regular basis.
Breakfast, a hot lunch and light tea are provided (included in the daily charge) social skills are encouraged whilst sitting at the table at meal times, taking turns at circle time where the children choose songs and a prop to hold and also giving the children an opportunity to talk about an interest or special event in their lives. My motivation is to give each child the best start in life by providing as many opportunities and as much guidance as I possibly can while providing a home from home experience.
My Experience
I have twelve years experience of working in childcare. I worked at a school for three years and before qualifying to be a Childminder, I worked as a Childminders assistant for three years. I have been a fully qualified childminder for the last six years.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered, hold a full paediatric first aid certificate, a food hygiene certificate and am fully up to date with Safeguarding and Prevent training. I hold a DBS certificate that is undated yearly.
My Availability
I am available from 08:00 until 17:30 Monday to Friday.
Funding for working parents entitlement for 2 , 3 and 4 year old’s is available. I am registered with HMRC to accept tax free childcare payments.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.85 per hour
A fixed daily charge of £65 that includes three meals a day, snacks, wipes, arts & crafts activities and entry to all toddler groups. Yoga classes are chargeable on a half termly basis.
